In this case, the upper end of the jack is fitted with two circular electrodes which are electrically connected to the inner contact piece. Elastic strip-shaped contact pieces are attached to the frame supporting the jack so as to be in contact with each of the circular electrodes. By inserting a rotating plug into such a jack, a detection signal from the thermocouple is extracted via the circular electrode and the contact piece in contact with the circular electrode.
