Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は一般に缶カートンに関するものであり、特にこ
のようなカートンの重量搬送ハンドルに関する。
〔従来技術と問題点〕
米国特許第４，５５８，８１６号に記載の缶カートンに
おいては、一対のハンドルパネルが１層のカートンパネ
ルから打ち出され、これらのハンドルパネルの隣接縁は
この１層のカートンパネルを横断する横方向穿孔スリッ
トと一致し、この穿孔スリットは前記カートンパネルと
折り曲げ接合されるパネルの中まで延在する末端延長部
分を有する。
〔発明の概要〕
本発明の１実施態様によれば、一体内ブランクによって
形成され、相互に連結された１層の底パネルおよび側面
パネルと、上パネルと、末端閉鎖パネルとを有する缶カ
ートン用搬送ハンドルにおいて、前記上パネルは２層構
造であり、前記ハンドルは、前記内側パネルの中に形成
され相互に離間された横方向縁を有する横方向に細長い
開口と、前記開口の横方向縁とほぼ一致するように前記
外側パネルの巾に形成された一対の横方向折り曲げ線と
、前記外側パネルから打ち出されそれぞれ前記横方向折
り曲げ線に沿って外側パネルに接合された一対の横方向
ハンドルフラップとを含み、前記横方向ハンドルフラッ
プは横方向穿孔スリットによって画成された共通の横方
向縁を有し、この穿孔スリットに沿って前記ハンドルフ
ラップが相互に分離して前記の横方向に細長い開口を通
して内側に折り曲げられるように成された缶カートン用
搬送ハンドルが提供される。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明を図面に示す実施例について詳細に説明す
る。
第２図について説明すれば、数字１はカートンの底パネ
ルを示す。側面パネル２は折り曲げ自在に折り曲げ線３
に沿って底パネル１に対して接合され、側面パネル４は
折り曲げ自在に折り曲げ線５に沿って底パネル１に対し
て接合されている。
末端フラップ６が折り曲げ線７に沿って底パネル１に折
り曲げ自在に接合され、末端フラップ８が折り曲げ線９
に沿って折り曲げ自在に底パネル１に接合されている。
末端パネル１ｏが折り曲げ線１１に沿って側面パネル２
に対して折り曲げ自在に接合され、末端パネル１２が折
り曲げ線１３に沿って側面パネル２に対して折り曲げ自
在に接合されている。末端パネル１４が折り曲げ線１５
に沿って側面パネル４に対して折り曲げ自在に接合され
、末端パネル１６が折り曲げ線１７に沿って側面パネル
２に対して折り曲げ自在に接合されている。
公知の弱化裂開構造が側面パネル４の中に矢印８で示す
ように形成されている。
本発明によれば、カートンの上パネルはダブルパネル構
造から成り、折り曲げ線２０に沿って側面パネル２に折
り曲げ自在に接合された内側パネル１９を含む。矢印２
１で示す横方向の細長い開口が横方向に離間された縁２
２．２３を含む。この開口２１の末端縁２４．２５は半
円形を成す。
この開口２１の末端縁２４から内側パネル１９の側面縁
２７までスリット２６が穿孔されている。
同様に末端縁２５から内側パネルの側面縁２０まで横方
向スリット２８が穿孔されている。スリット延長部２９
が側面パネル２の中に形成されている。折り曲げ線３０
．３１がスリット延長部２９の末端３２から、側面パネ
ル２と内側上パネル１９との間の折り曲げ線２０まで延
在する。
外側パネル３３が折り曲げ線３４に沿って側面パネル４
に対して折り曲げ自在に接合されている。
末端フラップ３５が外側上パネル３３に対して降り曲げ
線３６に沿って折り曲げ自在に接合され、末端フラップ
３７が外側上パネル３３に対して折り曲げ線３８に沿っ
て折り曲げ自在に接合されている。
また外側パネル３３の中に一対の横方向折り曲げ線３９
．４０が配置される。横方向ハンドルフラップ４１が外
側パネル３３に対して折り曲げ線３９に沿って折り曲げ
自在に接合され、横方向ハンドルフラップ４２が外側パ
ネル３３に対して折り曲げ線４０に沿って折り曲げ自在
に接合されている。また外側パネル３３の中には一対の
孔４３゜４４が形成され、これらの孔は好ましくは円形
とする。これらの孔４３．４４は第２図から明らかなよ
うにハンドルフラップ４１．４２の末端縁を画成する。
横方向に穿孔されたスリット４５がハンドルフラップ４
１．４２の共通縁を画成する。
一方または両方のハンドルフラップを内側に折り曲げる
と、これらのフラップの共同縁が分離されてこれらのハ
ンドルを内側に折り曲げる事ができる。横方向に穿孔さ
れたスリット２６ａが外側パネル３３の中に形成され、
このスリット２６ａは前記のスリット４５に対して延長
線上に配置される。同様に外側パネル３３の中に横方向
スリット２８ａが穿孔され、前記の横方向スリット４５
の延長線上に配置される。穿孔スリット２６ａの延長部
分４７が側面パネル４の中に形成される。
対の折り曲げ線４８．４９が延長線４７の末端５０から
折り曲げ線３４に対して一定角度で延在する。
カートンメーカーがカートンの製造を完了するため、第
２図に図示のように外側上縁の内側面に対して点描によ
って接着剤を塗布する。その後、側面パネル２を内側上
パネル１９と共に折り曲げ線３に沿って持ち上げて右側
に折り曲げる。つぎに外側上パネル３３を持ち上げて折
り曲げ線３４に沿って左側に折り曲げる。この操作によ
って内側上パネル１９と外側上パネル３３が相互に面接
触して、カートンのダブル厚さの土壁体を形成する。こ
の操作によって横方向穿孔スリット２６を横方向穿孔ス
リット２６ａと一致させ、また横方向穿孔スリット２８
を横方向穿孔スリット２８ａと一致させる事によって相
互に合致した折り曲げこれらの合致スリットは外側上パ
ネル３３の横方向穿孔スリット４５の延長線上にある。
つぎに第３図に図示のカートンは缶の包装業者に送られ
、包装業者は単にカートンの両端を開いて簡単に組み立
て、両端から缶を装入する。その後、末端パネル１０，
１２，１４．１６および末端フラップ６、８．３５．　
３７を末端閉鎖位置に配置して公知のように接着剤によ
って固着すると、完全に缶を装入されたカートンは第１
図に図示のようになる。
第１図に図示のカートンを搬送するためには、単にハン
ドルフラップ４１．４２を押し下げてこれらのフラップ
を内側に折り曲げればよい。
細長い開口２１の半円形末端縁２４．２５が孔４３．４
４の隣接部分とほぼ一致し、折り曲げ線３９．４０が横
方向開口２１の横縁２２，２３とほぼ一致する。ただし
、第４図に図示のように折り曲げ線３９．４０を開口２
１の横縁２２．　２３から少し内側にずらせる事が好ま
しい。
工業的用途 前記の説明から明らかなように、重いカートン荷重に特
に適当な缶カートン用重量ハンドル構造が提供された事
は明らかである。例えば本発明の重量ハンドル構造を有
するカートンの中に、充填された１２オンス缶を３０本
またはこれ以上配置して操作する事ができる。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は本発明の重量ハンドル構造を備え缶を装入され
組立てられた缶カートンの斜視図、第２図は第１図のカ
ートンを形成するブランクの内側面を上側に配置した平
面図、第３図はカートンメーカによる接着剤被着操作を
受けた第２図のブランクの平面図、第４図はカートンの
上パネルの−部の平面図であって、上パネルの内側層と
外側層の中に形成されたハンドル構造の相互関係を示す

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、複数の缶を包装するために一体的ブランクによって
    形成され、相互に連結された１層の底パネルおよび側面
    パネルと、内側および外側パネルから成るダブル上パネ
    ルと、末端閉鎖パネルとを有する缶カートン用搬送ハン
    ドルにおいて、前記ハンドルは、前記内側パネルの中に
    形成され相互に離間された横方向縁を有する横方向に細
    長い開口と、前記開口の横方向縁と一致するように前記
    外側パネルの中に形成された一対の横方向折り曲げ線と
    、前記外側パネルから打ち出されそれぞれ前記横方向折
    り曲げ線に沿って外側パネルに接合された一対の横方向
    ハンドルフラップとを含み、前記横方向ハンドルフラッ
    プは横方向穿孔スリットによって画成された共通の横方
    向縁を有し、この穿孔スリットに沿って前記ハンドルフ
    ラップが相互に分離して前記の横方向に細長い開口を通
    して内側に折り曲げられる事を特徴とする缶カートン用
    搬送ハンドル。 ２、各ハンドルフラップの末端縁は外側パネルの中に形
    成された孔の一部によってそれぞれ画成される事を特徴
    とする請求項１に記載の搬送ハンドル。 ３、各孔は円形である事を特徴とする請求項２に記載の
    搬送ハンドル。 ４、横方向に細長い開口の両端縁は半円形を成し、円形
    孔の隣接縁とほぼ一致するように配置される事を特徴と
    する請求項３に記載の搬送ハンドル。 ５、細長い開口の横方向縁は、横方向折り曲げ線の間隔
    より少し大なる間隔をもって相互に離間される事を特徴
    とする請求項１に記載の搬送ハンドル。 ６、外側パネルおよび内側パネルの中に、上壁の側面縁
    に対して垂直に隣接してまた横方向穿孔スリットの実質
    的に延長線上に配置された相互に合致する穿孔スリット
    を備える事を特徴とする請求項１に記載の搬送ハンドル
    。 ７、相互に合致する各穿孔スリットは対応の一層の側面
    パネルの中に延在する延長部を含む事を特徴とする請求
    項６に記載の搬送ハンドル。 ８、各側面パネルの中において、前記の各延長線の末端
    から、上パネルと対応の側面パネルとの接合折り曲げ線
    まで延在する一対の折り曲げ線が形成される事を特徴と
    する請求項７に記載の搬送ハンドル。
