Claims (1)
- 発熱体を有する中空の炉体および該炉体を貫通
する炉芯管を有し、該炉芯管が炉体より上方に突
出する部分において該炉芯管空間を上下に仕切る
手段を有し、高純度石英多孔質ガラス母材を該炉
芯管内上下方向に該仕切り手段を通過させて加熱
処理する石英母材製造用加熱炉であつて、該仕切
り手段は、多孔質ガラス母材が上下方向に貫通で
きる穴、該穴を封止できる蓋および該穴を封止す
るために該蓋を移動できる操作棒ならびにこれら
を収納する収納部材を有して成り、該操作棒は摺
動・封止関係で該収納部材に貫入する構造であり
、該収納部材は炉芯管の上部および中下部と気密
に接続できることを特徴とする高純度石英母材製
造用加熱炉。
