素子と、このＥＬ素子を前記透明基板上で密封す
る封止体とを備えた薄膜ＥＬ表示パネルにおいて
、 前記封止体は平板状封止板の裏面に前記ＥＬ素
子の周囲を囲む環状ガラス層が形成され、この環
状ガラス層を前記透明基板上に接着剤層を介して
接着してなる薄膜ＥＬ表示パネル。
