Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve adsorption efficiencies of ion to promote water purification effects by applying voltage to a filter of active carbon fibers provided in a water passage. CONSTITUTION:A main body 6 of a water purification apparatus 5 is formed into a cylindrical form, in which cylindrical filters 3 composed of active carbon fibers with a thickness of about 10mum, both ends of which being open, are provided. As a result, wt. per square unit of the filters 3 is reduced, so that the decrease in pressure losses can also be reduced.
