に形成した主燃焼室と前記活性化室とを連通する
噴孔を開閉するようにリフトするスキツシユ弁を
設けたデイーゼルエンジンにおいて、噴射燃料の
少なくとも一部が前記噴孔を介して主燃焼室に流
入する位置に燃料噴射ノズルを設けると共に、ス
キツシユ弁が噴孔を開口した後に燃料噴射の一部
を行う燃料噴射制御手段を設けたことを特徴とす
