Claims

A fuse tube made of a cylindrical insulator and an inner tube made of a cylindrical insulator held within the fuse tube with a desired insulation space, and a plurality of strips of ribbon-like fusible material are arranged around the outer circumference of the inner tube. A conductive cap is wound spirally and its ends are connected to retaining rings fitted over both ends of the inner tube, and connecting pieces provided on the retaining rings of the inner tube are fitted over both ends of the fuse tube. In the power fuse, the retaining ring is connected to an annular portion formed from a conductive plate and one end of this annular portion. 1. A power fuse comprising at least three connecting pieces projecting to the side, the ends of the connecting pieces being fixed to the conductive cap.
