行われることによつて洗い動作が行われ、特に回
転作用を受けた洗濯物が突起物5との衝突の後に
反転作用が付加されるので、洗いむらの少い効果
的な洗浄が行われる。従つて洗濯物の回転作用は
突起物5の形状、特にその厚さBによつて影響さ
れ、厚さBが小さい場合には洗濯槽4が回転中に
突起物5と洗濯物とが充分に接触できず水中を浮
遊する洗濯物の表面を突起物5の頂部5aがこす
るような状態となり回転作用及び衝突効果は著し
く減ずる。また突起物5の厚さBが大きい場合に
は突起物5と洗濯物の接触は充分できるが反面洗
濯槽4が急停止したとき水流の慣性に対して大き
な抵抗となり、従つて慣性で回転しようとする洗
濯物が突起物5に衝突して直ちに止まり充分な洗
浄効果を得ることができない。しかもこれに続く
反転作用も上記回転作用が不充分なために良好な
反転動作は期待できず、洗いむらの少い効果的な
