て、該シールリングの合い口部の上下面の少くと
も一方の側面を内周面側より外周面側へとテーパ
面としたことを特徴とする回転軸用シールリング
。 (2) 前記テーパ面の起点ｌは、前記シールリン
グの厚みＴのＴ〜２．５Ｔ（但し、起点ｌは合い
口部の外周面から起算）の範囲、並びにテーパ角
度θを１０′〜２゜の範囲とする請求項(1)の回
