The torch installed in the above-mentioned welding equipment is
It is necessary to adjust the aiming angle depending on the welding direction, groove condition, welding posture, etc. For example, the first
The one shown in the figure is an arc welding torch 1 attached so as to maintain an advancing angle with respect to a base metal 2, welding is performed in the direction of arrow A, and is generally used when performing shallow penetration welding. Also, Figure 2 shows the installation in such a way that the swept angle is maintained, and in this case the penetration is generally deep. For these reasons, various torch angle changing devices are incorporated into the torch support to adjust the arc direction. However, conventional angle changing devices have disadvantages in that the mechanisms and configurations are complicated, requiring a lot of effort to change and adjust, and the mounting and holding surface is too small to be unstable.
For example, in a torch attachment device as shown in FIG. 3 (side view) and FIG. 4 (right front view in FIG. 3), the torch 1 is attached to a torch attachment cylinder member 1a inserted through a torch holding member 3, The cylindrical member 1a is provided on the holding member 3 so as to be slidable in its axial direction,
It is adapted to be slid and supported in a free position by a handle 3a. Further, the torch holding member 3 has a split-type mounting portion 3b, and is fitted onto a shaft 4a formed on the distal end side of the swinging arm 4 so as to be perpendicular to the swinging arm. The handle 3c is a handle that tightens the fitting, but by loosening it, the torch holding member 3 can be rotated parallel to the plane of the paper, and the pointing direction of the torch 1 can be adjusted. The other end of the swinging arm 4 is pivotally supported by a pivot portion of a mounting bracket 5, and can be fixed in a free position by a tightening nut 5a of the shaft. The mounting bracket 5 is fixed to the top surface of a pedestal 6, and the pedestal 6 is provided on a support seat 8 so as to be slidable and tiltable. That is, the support seat 8
is fixedly or slidably provided on the welding carriage 7, and is attached to the base 6 by means of a handle 8a.
The pedestal 6 is configured to be able to freely rotate in the direction penetrating the page, and the pedestal 6 is configured to be slidably adjusted parallel to the page with respect to the support seat 8 using a handle 6a. Therefore, to adjust the pointing direction of the torch 1, operate the tightening nut 5a to rotate the swinging arm 4, for example, as indicated by the dotted line 4', and loosen the handle 3c to move the torch holding member 3 as shown in the dotted line. 3', and the arc point can be adjusted using the handles 3a and 6a. On the other hand, in order to change the approach angle or the retreat angle of the torch 1 as described above, the handle 8a is operated to tilt the base 6 relative to the support seat 8, for example, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 4. However, not only is there a small joint surface between the support seat 8 and the pedestal 6, but also the weight of the device supported by the pedestal 6 is large, making it unstable to maintain the above-mentioned inclination. Furthermore, such a tilt changing device has a complicated mechanism and requires a lot of effort to maintain and manage. Therefore, it is desired to develop an angle changing mechanism that can change the torch angle by simple means without using a special tilt adjusting mechanism and that can be supported reliably.

The present invention will be explained in detail below based on the drawings, but the drawings show one example of the concrete implementation of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to these illustrated examples. It can be implemented in the same way by applying it to the pivot attachment part of the device, or by changing the shape and part of the design. 5 to 9 are an explanatory sketch and a side view showing the main parts of the torch angle changing mechanism of the present invention, in which the fixing pressure contact surfaces are each formed in a circular shape. That is, the mechanism of the present invention changes and adjusts the torch angle by forming a tapered surface on the mounting surface of the pivot portion for assembling the torch support member, or by interposing a plate having a tapered surface. This method changes the angle of the torch by changing the contact surface. That is, the pair of tapered plates 9, 10 shown in FIG. It is formed in a circular shape as shown in the figure (half-cut sketch). In addition, the surfaces 9b and 10b opposite to the abutment surface form mounting surfaces, respectively, and a through hole 1 is formed approximately in the center of the plate.
1 is formed. And these taper angles are a
In Fig. 6, the respective mounting surfaces 9b and 10
b is parallel, but when the contact surface is turned 180 degrees, the angle θ with the mounting surfaces 9b and 10b becomes as shown in Fig. 7.
2a, and θ can be freely set from 0 to 2a depending on the turning angle. In addition, the one shown in Fig. 8 is an auxiliary plate 1 having parallel inclined surfaces.
2, 12a is replaced with a taper plate 9,
The taper angle is a. Furthermore, a similar effect can be obtained by disposing a tapered plate 13 having oppositely inclined surfaces on both sides between the tapered plates 9 and 10 shown in FIG. The angle of inclination of the mounting surface can be changed by rotating the mounting surface, and a predetermined angle of inclination can be maintained depending on the angle of rotation. Further, the contact surfaces are uniformly pressed by the clamping members that are clamped through the through holes 11, and are stably supported.

10 (side view) and FIG. 11 (a front view with a right-hand main part cut away in FIG. 10) show the present invention applied to the torch support device illustrated in FIG. 3 above. In other words, if the angle of the torch can be adjusted at the attachment point between the swinging arm 4 and the torch holding member 3, and at the attachment point between the bracket 5 and the pedestal 6, the conventional device can be used as is, which is reasonable. It is. Moreover, if it is not possible to change the amount of change using only one mounting part, the amount of change can be increased by using the mounting part on the other side as well.
That is, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 10, a tapered plate is used for the connection attachment portion between the torch holding member 3 (partially omitted) and the swinging arm 4, and the attachment portion between the bracket 5 and the pedestal 6, respectively. However, the present invention may be applied to the connecting portion between the bracket 5 and the swinging arm 4, or the present invention may be applied only to a part of these, for example, the attachment portion between the swinging arm 4 and the torch holding member 3. The same effect can be achieved even if The following will mainly describe what is applied to the torch holding member 3. That is, as shown in FIG. 11, the swinging arm 4 has a boss portion 4b formed on the side of the bracket that supports the bracket 5.
It is pivotally supported by a tightening shaft 5b at the abutting portion thereof, and is held by a nut 5a. Further, a pin 14 is installed in the pivot portion on the bracket side, and the boss portion 4
The protruding portion is fitted into the circular groove 14a formed on the contact surface side of b, and the swinging arm 4 is rotated (in the penetrating direction of the paper).
It is becoming more and more regulated. On the other hand, the other end side of the swinging arm 4 forms a pivot portion 15 having mounting surfaces parallel to the pivoting surface of the swinging arm 4 (in the direction through which the drawing surface passes). On the other hand, the shaft to which the torch holding member 3 is attached is constituted by a stepped shaft 16 on which a pivot shaft 16a is formed, and a mounting portion of the torch holding member 3 is fitted through a collar 17. When installing the stepped shaft 16 on the pivot portion 15, a spherical bearing 2
1 is interposed therebetween, and the stepped shaft 16 is provided so as to be tiltable, and the stepped shaft 16 is interposed so as to be in contact with the mounting surfaces of the taper plates 10 and 9, respectively, on both sides of the pivot portion 15. Also, these taper plates 9, 10
Tapered washers 18 and 19 having the same inclined surface are interposed on the inclined contact surface sides of the respective inclined surfaces, and the outer surfaces of these washers 18 and 19 are parallel to the mounting surface of the pivot portion 15, respectively. The pivot shaft 16a is
It is inserted through these taper plates and washers and tightened together by nuts 20. Pins 14 are symmetrically implanted on the inclined surfaces of the taper plates 9 and 10, and a portion of the pins protrudes, and the protrusions are connected to the washers 18 and 10, respectively.
They are fitted into circular grooves 18a and 19a formed in 19, respectively. In addition, these circular grooves 18a and 19a are connected to the pin 14 as shown in FIG. 12 and FIG.
The taper plates 9 and 10 can be rotated within a range of 0 to 180 degrees when the nut 20 is loosened. Further, by this rotation, the axis B of the pivot shaft 16a can be tilted as indicated by B', and by tightening the nut 20, the stepped shaft 16 can be firmly held on the swing arm 4. This mounting configuration is for spherical bearing 2.
1 is shown in which taper plates are placed on both sides, but the same implementation is possible even if a taper plate is interposed on one side. That is, in FIG. 11, only the taper plates 9 and 10 are used to attach the swing arm support bracket 5 to the pedestal 6, and by rotating both or one of the taper plates, the attachment axis of the bracket 5 can be adjusted. C can be changed to C'.

The torch angle changing mechanism of the present invention is constructed so that such a taper plate or a washer formed with a tapered mounting surface is inserted into the pivot mounting part and tightened, so when changing the torch angle, the tightening can be loosened. It is only necessary to rotate the taper plate, and since the amount of change is specified by the degree of rotation, it is extremely efficient. In addition, when holding the angle, the abutment surface can be made wider, and since pressure is applied at the center, the angle can be held evenly, which is extremely stable, and the welding work can be streamlined.
