Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A pin tractor device 1 comprises pin wheels 2 each provided with pins 11 protruding radially to be inserted into feed holes 4a of a printing paper 4, and tractor doors 3 covering upper parts of the pins 11. The pin wheel 2 is engaged with and supported by a rotating driving shaft 9, and is rotatably supported on a pin tractor frame 5. The tractor door 3 is openably supported on the frame 5 through a shaft, and is so formed as to cover the upper parts of the pins 11 of the pin wheel 2 when being closed. The tractor door 3 is provided with an extension part 6 which extends to the side of a printing part 8 comprising a printing head 10 of the printer and which faces a paper feeding surface 2a of the pin wheel 2. The extension part 6 is formed of a material such as an elastic plastic, and a tip part thereof is provided as an elastic contact part 7 for making elastic contact with the paper feeding surface 2a of the pin wheel 2.
