Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は特許請求の範囲の上位概念記載の装置から出発
する。米国特許第4 206 501号明細書により背
後から照明する表示装置が公知であり、その際光源と表
示器の間に表示器を均一に照明するため位置に応じて黒
化した拡散板が配置される。高い照度のゾーンは低い照
度のゾーンより強く遮光される。拡散板は高いまたは低
い密度で分布した点を有するシートとして写真法により
製造される。
本発明の目的は写真法によらないシートの製法を得るこ
とである。
特許請求の範囲による本発明の装置はランプの位置でも
っとも密であり、シートの周縁へ向って大きい間隔で配
置した円をシートに配置するのが有利である。
円゛を線幅と線間隔の比がランプと表面の間の角度のコ
サイン、の3乗に比例するように配置するのがとくに有
利である。この手段によってシートは簡単に計算によっ
て製造することができる。
この方法はとくに表示装置を点光源で照明する場合有利
に使用される。
特許請求の範囲記載の装置はとくにフィルムの正しいグ
ランデージョンを調節する問題が避けられる利点を有す
る。
次に本発明の実施例を図面により説明する。
第1図は受動的表示装置の例として液晶(LC)表示器
の詳細を示す。LC表示器は偏光子11、ガラス板12
、液晶13、もう1つのガラス板14および偏光子−ト
ランスフレフタ組合せ15を有する。このLC表示器は
公知法で製造される。
LC表示器の後方にシー1−16およびランプ18が配
置される。シート16上にラスタ点17が認められる。
さらにランプ18からラスタ点17への照明角度が示さ
れる。円形リングを有するラスタシート16の実施例が
第2図に示される。すなわち表示器は1つの点光源のみ
で照明され、場合により存在する第1図には示されない
導体路および構成素子は支持板の上に均一に分布し、局
部的透過光線はシート16の裏面の照度に比例するので
、この光源は照明角度のコサインの3乗に比例する。光
線分布はその際回転対称である。線幅と線間隔の比が照
明角度のコサインの3乗に比例して増大する円形線フィ
ルタによって、透過する平均光線したがって表示器の局
部的照度は均一な高さに低下されるので、均一照度の照
明が行われる。表示器とランプ18の間に均一に分布す
る構成素子が存在する場合、円の相互間隔は実験的に求
められる。この方法によればフィルムの露光を介する常
用の迂回はもはや不用である。円の間隔は1部理論的に
計算され、ラスタシート16へI;だちにプリントする
ことができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 受動的表示器の後方に配置された光源を備え、シートが
    表示器と光源(18)の間に配置され、このシートが照
    度の高いゾーンを照度の低いゾーンより強く遮光する、
    受動的表示装置を均一照度に照明する装置において、シ
    ート(16)上に同心円を配置し、この円がランプの位
    置でもっともち密であり、シート(16)の周縁方向に
    大きい間隔で配置され、円の線幅と線間隔の比がランプ
    と表面の間の角度のコサインの3乗に比例するように円
    が配置されていることを特徴とする光源を備える受動的
    表示装置を均一照度に照明する装置。
