のである。すなわち化粧部Bは、硬質壁材と同質素材、
例えば、セメント、陶土、粘土、珪酸カルシウム、炭酸
カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、木片セメント、木毛セ
メント、セラミック等、あるいはこれらにガラス繊維、
アスベスト繊維、ウィスカー、アラミド繊維、スチール
繊維、炭素繊維、ロックウール、鉱物繊維、フライアッ
シュ、高炉スラグ、骨材等を混入したものを押出成形、
プレス成形、射出成形、型枠成形、抄造法により形成し
たもの、あるいは各種繊維をクロス状、三次元状に繊り
、これにスラリー状のセメント、粘土等を含浸して成形
したものに対し、蒸気養生、焼成等を行ったものである
。さらに説明すると化粧部Bは壁体において露出する部
分であり、化粧材として機能すると共に、水切り面とし
ても機能するものである。その形状は第2図(a)に示
すように、断面を略台形状とすると共に、背面には略蟻
溝状の係合溝1を形成したものである。この係合溝1は
後述する取付部Cの係止部3と係合するためのものであ
る。取付部Cはカラー鋼板、亜鉛・アルミメツキ鋼板、
アルミニウム板、銅板、フッ素樹脂被覆鋼板、クラツド
鋼板、ラミネート鋼板、制振鋼板等の金属板をロール成
形、プレス成形したもの、あるいはアルミニウム合金等
を押出成形して形成したものである。その形状は第2図
(b)に示すように、固定部2の一端に化粧部Bの係合
溝1と略同じように蟻ほぞ状に形成した係止部3とから
なるものである。この固定部2は主に水切り材Aを壁体
に固定する際の釘打股部、ボルト取付部として機能する
ため、釘の打設、ボルト用孔の穿設によって水切り材A
の破損、すなわち化粧部Bが破損することなく固定する
ことができるものとなる。また固定部2は、第3図に示
すように、壁体において、主柱、間柱、土台等の躯体α
と硬質壁材βとの中間に位置し、外観上水切り材Aが露
出するのは化粧部Bのみとなるため、同一素材を用いて
壁体を形成したごとく、調和を醗し出すのに役立つもの
である。しかも、固定部2は水切り部としても機能し、
硬質壁材βと化粧部Bとの間隙から雨水が浸入しても、
躯体αに達することなく外部へ排出することができるも
のとなる。すなわち、水切り材Aは化粧部Bと取付部C
を保合溝1、係止部3で係合することにより、上記のよ
うな諸機能を発揮することができるものである。さらに
、水切り材へ同士を長手方向に連結する場合、第4図に
示すように、一方の水切り材への取付部Cを化粧部Bよ
り突出させ、他方の水切り材A(点線で示す)では化粧
部Bを取付部Cより突出させ、この突出した取付部Cと
化粧部B′を係止部3、保合溝1′で係止することによ
って行うものであり、この場合、防水性を低下させるこ
となく連結できると共に、化粧部1.1′同士に段差な
