  1. 前照灯の反射鏡に装着される電球において、ア
    ーク中心が前照灯の反射鏡の光軸上で且つ前記反
    射鏡の焦点よりも前方に配置される放電灯と、前
    記放電灯よりも下方で且つフイラメント中心が前
    記アーク中心よりも前方に配置されるフイラメン
    トとを一体のガラスバルブ中に封止し、このガラ
    スバルブの略下半部をフードで覆つた構造として
    あることを特徴とする車両用前照灯の電球。
