Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently clean a filter belt by bringing the filter belt into direct contact with a washing liquid outlet of a feed pipe of the washing liquid for washing the filter belt. CONSTITUTION: A washing pipe 7 is disposed in the direction of a right angle to the filter belt at the upper part of a cleaning chamber 3 of a circulation type filter belt 1. The filter belt 1 is made to be in contact with the side face of the cleaning pipe 7. Besides, a guide plate 8 is disposed on the upper part of the cleaning chamber 3, and guides the filter belt 1. Holes jetting the cleaning liquid toward a center of the side face are arranged on the cleaning pipe 7 in a line with a uniform spacing. Thus, the cleaning liquid is distributed uniformly on the filter belt to clean. The contamination product collected in a receiver 5 of the washing chamber 3 is taken out through a discharge port 6 and a new cleaning medium is fed from an another cleaning container in the outside.
