動側となるデイフアレンシヤルの少くとも一方の
サイドギヤと車輪側との動力伝達を断続可能なク
ラツチ機構と、このクラツチ機構の作動を制御す
る制御機構とを備え、前記トランスフアの4輪駆
動側への切換作動と前記クラツチ機構の接続作動
により4輪駆動状態となる2輪−4輪駆動切換可
能な四輪駆動車であり、前記制御機構を、前記切
換レバーの操作により動作して同切換レバーが4
輪駆動側へ切換えられたことを検出する第1検出
手段と、前記トランスフアへ付与される作動油圧
により動作して同トランスフアが4輪駆動側へ切
換えられたことを検出する第2検出手段と、この
第2検出手段の検出動作により作動して前記クラ
ツチ機構を接続側へ作動させる駆動手段と、前記
第1検出手段の検出動作時に前記第2検出手段が
非動作状態となつたとき前記駆動手段の前記接続
側への作動状態を保持する補償手段を備えた構成
にしたことを特徴とする2輪−4輪駆動切換可能
