Description
〔産業上の利用分野〕
この発明は、サンドイツチ接着構造の面板の表
面に塗装する際の塗装前処理方法に係わり、更に
詳しくは面板塗装面の塗装前処理を簡略化させて
作業能率を向上させると共に、塗装の密着性を向
上させたサンドイツチパネルの塗装前処理方法に
関するものである。
〔従来技術〕
従来、ハニカムコアの上下面に接着剤を介して
面板を接着し、この面板の表面を塗装する場合、
ハニカムコアの上下面にサンドイツチパネルを接
着加工した後に、塗装の前処理を行つている。
ところで、上記のようなサンドイツチパネルを
接着加工した後に、塗装の前処理を行う方法の場
合には、ハニカムコアの上下面とサンドイツチパ
ネルとの接着性能に悪影響を及ぼすことから、一
般にはナイロンブラシ(例えば3M製の商品名:
スコツチブライト)やワイヤーブラシ等で表面を
研磨した後、アロジン液等を刷毛塗りで化学皮膜
処理を行い、水洗後に乾燥させて行うタツチアツ
プ方法が行われている。
然しながら、このような従来の塗装前処理方法
では、多くの手間と時間を要し、経済的ではな
く、また非能率的であると言う問題があつた。
〔発明の目的〕
この発明は、かかる従来の問題点に着目して案
出されたもので、その目的とするところは面板塗
装面の塗装前処理を簡略化させることにより多く
の手間と時間を要することなく、安価に、しかも
効率良く塗装前処理を行うことが出来、更にサン
ドイツチパネルの塗装の密着性を向上させたサン
ドイツチパネルの塗装前処理方法を提供するもの
である。
〔発明の構成〕
この発明は上記目的を達成するため、ハニカム
コアの上下面に接着剤を介して面板を接着し、こ
の面板の表面を塗装するサンドイツチパネルの塗
装前処理方法において、前記ハニカムコアに面板
を接着する前工程で、前記面板の表面を酸エツチ
ング処理し、この酸エツチング処理した面板の塗
装面側にマスキングテープを貼り付けて処理面を
保護した後、前記ハニカムコアの上下面に夫々接
着剤を介して面板を装着すると共に固着し、かか
る後面板の塗装面側に貼着したマスキングテープ
を剥がして面板の表面を塗装することを要旨とす
るものである。
〔発明の実施例〕
以下添付図面に基いて、この発明の実施例を説
明する。
第1図は、この発明のサンドイツチ接着構造を
実施した完成品の全体斜視図を示し、1はハニカ
ムコア、2a,2bは第2図に示すようにハニカ
ムコア1の上下面に接着剤3を介して接着固定し
た面板を示している。
次に、サンドイツチパネルの塗装前処理方法を
工程順序に沿つて説明すると、まず前記ハニカム
コア1に面板2a,2bを接着する前工程で、面
板2a,2bの接着前処理を行う。
この接着前処理方法としては、図示しないタン
クに薬液を入れた表面処理装置で行い、一般的に
は浸漬方法でタンクの中の薬液に面板2a,2b
を浸して全面処理を行う。
薬液の種類としては、面板2a,2bの材質に
より異なり、例えば面板2a,2bの材質がアル
ミニユームの場合は、重クロム酸ナトリウムと硫
酸の水溶液方法、リン酸アノダイズ方法、クロム
酸アノダイズ方法等により行う。
また面板2a,2bの材質が、ステンレスの場
合には、重クロム酸ナトリウムと硫酸の水溶液方
法、沸化水素と硝酸の水溶液方法等により行うも
のである。
次に、面板2a,2bの表面の酸エツチング処
理が終了したら、第3図aに示すように面板2
a,2bの塗装面X側に、マスキングテープ4を
貼り付けて処理面が汚れないように保護する。な
お、マスキングテープ4としては、広い幅の感圧
粘着剤付の塩化ビニールフイルム等の市販品を使
用する。
次に、マスキングテープ4を貼り付けた面板2
a,2bの反対側の面、つまり塗装面X側と反対
側に、第3図bに示すように液状接着剤3を塗布
するか、またはフイルム接着剤3を貼り付ける。
このような前段取りが終了したら、第3図cに
示すように図示しない治具を使用して、前記ハニ
カムコア1の上下面に夫々接着剤3を介して面板
2a,2bを装着すると共に、プレスまたはオー
トクレーブを使用して面板2a,2bをハニカム
コア1の上下面に押さえ付け、加熱硬化させる。
そして、かかる後面板2a,2bの塗装面側に
貼着したマスキングテープ4を剥がし、面板2
a,2bの塗装面をスプレーまたは刷毛等により
塗装して作業を終了する(第3図d参照)。
このように、この発明では面板2a,2bの表
面の酸エツチング処理が終了した後に、従来のよ
うに塗装面側をナイロンブラシ(例えば3M製の
商品名:スコツチブライト)やワイヤーブラシ等
で表面を研磨した後、アロジン液等を刷毛塗りで
化学皮膜処理を行い、水洗後に乾燥させて行うタ
ツチアツプ方法等を行う必要がなく、作業工程を
短縮化出来、作業能率を向上させることが出来
る。
次に、この発明と従来方法とによる塗膜の密着
試験を行つた結果、以下のような結果が得られ
た。
(a) 塗膜の密着試験方法
(1) 塗装面と金属板との密着性を確認するため
に、密着テストを行う。
(2) 試験方法:Federal Test Method
Standard141のMethod 6301 Wet Adhesion
(Tepe Test)。
(b) 試験方法の概略
(1) 粘着テープ
25.4mm幅の平らなテープで、平均80OZ/25.4
mm幅の粘着力のあるテープを使用する。
(3M製スコツチテープNO.250が該当する)
(2) ローラ
重さ2.0Kgで、硬度70〜80のゴムでカバーし
たローラを使用し、寸法は外径89mm、幅44mmと
する。
(3) 試験方法
1 塗装した試験片を24時間水に浸漬する。
2 試験片を取り出し、柔らかい布で拭く。
3 取り出した後、1分以内に塗膜に、金属面
に達する深さで深さ25.4mm間隙のケガキ線を
平行に2本入れる。
4 ケガキ線を横切るように、粘着テープをロ
ーラを使つて貼る。
5 粘着テープを素早く剥がし、塗膜が剥離す
るか否かを検査する。
(c) 試験結果

間を要することなく、安価に、しかも効率良く塗
装前処理を行うことが出来、更にサンドイツチパ
ネルの塗装の密着性を向上させることが出来る効
果がある。
