[考案の技術分野]
本考案はカラーブラウン管に係り、特にパネル

[考案の技術的背景とその問題点]
カラーブラウン管では内面に蛍光面の形成され
たパネルと、ネツク部内に電子銃が封止されるフ
アンネルとが封着されてバルブが形成され、第2
図に示すように、パネル1内面の蛍光面2に対向
して所定の間隔を保つてシヤドウマスク3が配設
されるものであつて、このシヤドウマスク3は周
縁端部がマスクフレーム4に固定され、このフレ
ームに溶着されたホルダ(図示せず)をパネル内
側面に突設されたピン(図示せず)に嵌合させ
て、シヤドウマスク3は配設されている。フアン
ネル5とパネル1との内面にはそれぞれ黒色導電
膜6,7が塗布形成され、前記フレーム4にはイ
ンナーシールド8が取着されている。このインナ
ーシールド8は第3図に示すようにコーナー部に
それぞれ開孔部9が設けられている。さらに管内
にはゲツター10が所定通り配設され、その先端
部にはゲツター材の入つたリング11がとりつけ

このようなカラーブラウン管を動作させるとき
には、所定通り各部に電圧を印加して行うもので
あるが、蛍光面の外縁コーナー部に異常発光がみ
られるという不具合が起こることがある。この場
合パネルの周縁部では第4図に示すよな状態にな
つている。すなわちインナーシールドのコーナー
の開孔部9を通つてゲツターが飛散し、パネル表
面にゲツターの蒸着膜13が形成されていて、そ
の厚い部分13Aは本影であり、その薄い部分1
3Bは半影であるが、この蒸着膜の部分と蛍光面
2から延在して形成されている黒色導電膜14と
が重なり合つていない状態となつていて、前記の
不具合が起こるものである。このような状態であ
ると、ブラウン管の動作時に、一部電子ビームが
インナーシールドのコーナーの開孔部から入射
し、パネル内面上に形成されたゲツター蒸着膜に
当たり、電子が蓄積され、電位が下がるため電子
は+電位であるフレーム、パネル、フアンネルに
向つて射出されることになり、このとき蛍光面に
も矢印のように射出されるので、これによつて蛍
光体が発光することになり、画像特性を劣化させ
る。このようにシヤドウマスクの透孔を通過しな
い電子によつて蛍光体が発光するという不具合が
長時間にわたつて持続されることになるので、特
性不良となり、ブラウン管は不良になつてしま
う。このような不具合が起こらないものが要望さ

接触するように黒色導電膜が形成されたものであ
つて、パネル内面に形成された蛍光面の異常発光

通を行ない蛍光面の異常発光の防止がはかられ

を防止することができて、カラーブラウン管の特
性の向上がはかられ、又、製造歩留りの一層の向

ゲツターと、パネル内面の蛍光面に対向して配設
されるシヤドウマスクを固定するフレームに取着
されたインナーシールドと、フアンネルおよびパ
ネルの内面に形成された黒色導電膜を備えるカラ
ーブラウン管において、前記パネル内面に形成さ
れた黒色導電膜のフアンネル側の端部が、前記ゲ
ツターリングのパネル側端と前記インナーシール
ドのコーナーの開孔部のパネル側端とを結ぶ延長
線上にあたるパネル内側面の位置よりさらにフア
ンネル側に位置していることを特徴とするカラー
