行う複写装置において、所定の傾斜面を有する原
稿台と、傾斜面に沿つて移動し原稿を走査して画
像情報を読み込むよう設けられた光学構成部材と
、該光学構成部材を傾斜面に沿つて移動させる駆
動手段と、を備え、前記光学構成部材が走査開始
時に該原稿台の傾斜面の下端側を始動位置として
駆動手段の駆動により傾斜面に沿つて上方に移動
し、走査終了時は前記駆動手段を停止させ自重に
より傾斜面に沿つて下方に移動して始動位置に復
帰するようにしたことを特徴とする複写装置。 (2) 前記光学構成部材が始動位置に復帰すると
きの衝撃を吸収するよう始動位置近傍に緩衝部材
を設けたことを特徴とする第１項記載の複写装置
