である。[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a stabilizer for obtaining a long-life, highly concentrated coal-water slurry that can be pumped and used as fuel for boilers in power plants and the like. [Prior Art] ■ (Background) In recent years, the use of coal has been reaffirmed due to concerns about the depletion of oil resources and high prices. While various methods for its use are being considered, water slurry of pulverized coal is attracting attention because it can be transported by pump and can be directly burned as fuel for boilers in power plants and the like. However, if you simply produce a slurry of coal and water, the viscosity will increase, making it impossible to produce a slurry with a high coal concentration. In fact, if the coal concentration is low, the transportation efficiency will naturally decrease, and furthermore, there will be a dehydration process before combustion. is required, which is costly. (Problems with the prior art) Therefore, various studies have already been conducted on thinning agents to reduce the viscosity of highly concentrated coal-water slurries, but with thinners alone, even immediately after production, the viscosity does not decrease. Even if a low slurry is obtained, this slurry is unstable and can increase viscosity, settle, or consolidate over time, and lose its self-flowing properties as soon as produced within a short period of time, which is why some Guar gum is used as a stabilizer, and
Publication No. 114 describes the combination of the uronic acid-containing water-soluble polysaccharide Zanfuro (polysaccharide produced by Erwinia atahitica, molecular weight approximately 1 million, manufactured by Kelco, USA) and the sodium salt of a naphthalene sulfonic acid-formalin condensate. Although,
Slurries using these polysaccharides as stabilizers not only have poor fluidity due to their high viscosity immediately after production, but also have poor fluidity when left standing.
After several months, a soft pack forms, causing problems in dispensing from storage tanks and stationary tanks, and also causes problems such as clogging of spray nozzles during combustion. [Problems to be solved by the invention] Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to solve the above problems by developing a stabilizer for highly concentrated coal-water slurry that maintains self-flowing properties for a long period of time. It is to provide a solution.

8) Betaine: tetradecyl betaine, hexadecyl betaine, octadecyl betaine, etc. (2-2) Alkylimidacillin type amphoteric surfactant (a) N-carboxymethyl-2-alkyl (8 to 24 carbon atoms, preferably 12 to 18) imidacillin betaine: N-carboxymethyl-2- Dodecylimidacilline betaine, N-carboxymethyl-2-tetrabutylimidazolinepetaine, N-carboxymethyl-2-hexadecylimidacilline hetaine, N-carboxymethyl-2-octadecylimidacilline betaine, and the like. 2-1 days) Taurine salt, sodium salt of N-stearyl taurine, sodium salt of N-lauryl taurine, etc. Among the above amphoteric surfactants, particularly preferred for the purposes of the present invention are carboxylate type amphoteric surfactants, particularly carboxybetaine type amphoteric surfactants described in item (2-1) above. ■(Usage amount) When the amphoteric surfactant of the present invention is blended as a stabilizer,
The amount added is 0.01 to 5 to the coal-water slurry.
.. 0% by weight, preferably 0.03-2.0% by weight. If the amount added is less than this range, a long-life slurry cannot be obtained, and if the amount added is more than this range, air bubbles will be mixed in the slurry, making it impossible to obtain a fluid slurry. In order to obtain a long-life, high-concentration coal-water slurry that has self-flowing properties even after one month of stasis, it is important to maintain the above range of addition amount. The stabilizer of the present invention exhibits even more excellent stability effects when used in combination with natural or artificial clay minerals such as montmorillonite, hectorite, attapulgite (palygorskite), and the like. (1) (Dispersant) A known anionic surfactant is used as the dispersant for the coal-water slurry used in the present invention. Specifically, 1, for example, lignin sulfone acetate, naphthalene sulfonate, alkylnaphthalene sulfonate, alkylbenzene sulfonate, formaldehyde condensate of these sulfonates, polystyrene sulfonate, polyoxyalkylene alkylphenyl ether sulfate ester salt. , polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate salt, polyoxyalkylene polyhydric alcohol ether sulfate salt, alkyl sulfate salt, fat salt resistant, polyacrylate, polymethacrylate, polymerizable carboxylic acid (acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or Examples include salts of copolymers of maleic anhydride (maleic anhydride, etc.) and vinyl compounds (α-olefin, etc.). Among the above anionic surfactants, preferable ones for the purpose of the present invention include, for example, condensate salts of (alkyl)naphthalene sulfonic acid and formaldehyde, poly(partial) styrene sulfonates, etc. Can be done. In the former case, the degree of condensation is in the range of 35 to 100.
The latter has the best dispersibility when it has a molecular weight in the range of 2,000 to 500,000. However, 1. Since the gist of the present invention is to use an amphoteric surfactant or an amphoteric surfactant salt as a stabilizer for slurry, regardless of the type of dispersant, it does not matter what kind of dispersant is used. However, it is still possible to produce a long-life, highly concentrated coal-water slurry. The amount of dispersant added varies depending on the dispersant and the type of coal, but it is usually 0.01 to 5 ml per coal-water slurry.
.. 0% by weight, preferably 0.03-2.0% by weight. ■ (Coal) The coal used in the coal-water slurry may be any coal, such as anthracite, bituminous coal, subblue coal, lignite, or cleaned coal. Coal is coal from which inorganic substances such as ash and sulfur have been removed. Incidentally, as cleaning methods, for example, heavy liquid separation method, oil coagulation method (oil
Although there are methods such as Agglo-*eration method (referred to as OA method), flotation method, etc., other precision methods can also be used. Note that the effect of the stabilizer of the present invention is not affected by the particle size of the target coal, so the coal particle size in the water slurry is also arbitrary.
The pulverized coal currently used in thermal power plants has a throughput of 70% or more, so this particle size is a good standard. (Preparation of Slurry) When preparing a coal-water slurry by a wet method, the stabilizer of the present invention may be added all at once from the beginning or in portions during the preparation; Alternatively, the stabilizer may be added after preparing the coal-water slurry. Another method is to put coal and water into a pulverizer to produce a low-concentration slurry, then add and mix the stabilizer to the dehydrated and concentrated slurry. is also useful. However, the concept of the present invention is not related to these specific preparation methods, and since it is sufficient that the inventive stabilizer is finally dissolved or dispersed substantially uniformly in the slurry, any preparation method can be used as long as such a method can be achieved. law may be adopted. Note that the dispersant can also be added and used together with the stabilizer or separately in the same way as the above-mentioned addition of the stabilizer. (Effect) Although it varies depending on the type of dispersant and the type of coal, in general, coal-water slurry is difficult to prepare unless a stabilizer is used.
Coal aggregation and sedimentation will occur at the bottom of the tank after a week, but if the stabilizer of the present invention is used in combination, the slurry will not change much over time, and coal will not agglomerate or sediment even if it is left standing for one month. It can be easily pumped out from inside the tank. Considering the reason why the stabilizer of the present invention has such excellent performance, the amphoteric surfactant group of the amphoteric surfactant or the salt of the amphoteric surfactant in the stabilizer of the present invention acts as a bridge between coal particles. However, since the network structure is maintained for a long period of time, it is thought that a long-life self-flowing (low viscosity) highly concentrated coal-water slurry can be obtained. (Left space below) [Examples] The modes and effects of implementing the invention will be shown below using Examples and Comparative Examples, but the explanations are, of course, for illustrative purposes and are not intended to limit or limit the idea of the invention. Example 1 A coal-water slurry was manufactured using the additives and bituminous coal shown in Table 1 and the method shown below. The coal used was coarsely crushed in advance to a particle size of 2 mm using a dry mill. Coal-water slurry manufacturing method: Predetermined amount of coarsely crushed coal (particle size approx.
II11 or less), water, and additives are put into a ball mill and pulverized until the coal particle size is 200 and the amount passing through mesh is 80%. In addition, the manufactured slurry was evaluated by the test method shown below. l) Slurry viscosity: Measured at 25°C using a Haake rotational viscometer at a shear rate of 1005 ec-'. 2) Lifespan of slurry: Measured by the pot method, that is, put the slurry produced in 5 liters into a wide-mouthed bottle with a capacity of 250 m, and let it sit for 2 months.
After i, the slurry was discharged from the bottle by gravity, and 5
It passed through an 11-peng sieve. At this time, the amount of slurry remaining in the bottle and the amount of slurry on a 5 mm sieve was measured as the amount of agglomeration, and the agglomeration rate (%) with respect to the total slurry was determined. The viscosity of the slurry was also measured after it was left standing for one month. A slurry with a smaller amount of agglomeration and a viscosity closer to that immediately after production is a better slurry with a longer life. The evaluation results are shown in Table 2 below. As is clear from Table 2, the slurry containing the stabilizer of the present invention has almost no aggregates and hardly any increase in viscosity even after being left standing for one month, making it a highly concentrated coal-water slurry with a long life. there were. On the contrary, in the case of a comparative example that does not contain the stabilizer of the present invention,
Even if guar gum is used as a stabilizer, the viscosity of the slurry immediately after production is high, and a slurry with self-flowing properties cannot be obtained even after being left standing for one month. (Leaving space below) Table (Introduction of additives Wυ α1 Subsequent table (Coal-Water Slurry-σ Sekimu (1)) (Company) O: Good, ×: Bad Table G Selling) Example-2 Coal The same ones as in Example 1 were used, and the stabilizers and dispersants shown in Table 1 were used. The coal-water slurry was produced using deashed coal by the method shown below. Coal-water slurry manufacturing method: Predetermined amount of coarsely crushed coal (particle size approx.
■The following) and water are put into a ball mill and 1 coal is made with a degree of 15%.
, a slurry having a coal particle size of 200 mesh and 80% passing through was produced. After this slurry is deashed by a flotation method and dehydrated to a predetermined degree a, additives are added and stirred using a Lab Disper (trade name of a test dispersing machine) to obtain a slurry. The final slurry produced was evaluated using the same test method as in Example 1. The evaluation results are shown in Table 3. As is clear from Table 3, according to the stabilizer of the present invention, even in the slurry of cleaned coal, there are almost no aggregates after standing still for one month, and the viscosity of the slurry hardly increases. You can get water slurry. On the other hand, in the case of a comparative example that is not based on the present invention, the slurry viscosity immediately after production was high, and a slurry with self-flowing properties could not be obtained even after being left standing for one month.
