面を、電極を用いて表面加工を行う装置において
、前記電極を二つに分割し、この分割した二つの
電極の総計長さを、最も幅の広い例えば前記チユ
ーブ幅とし、チユーブ幅が狭くなるに従つて前記
二つの電極を背中合わせにして総計長さを小さく
していき、二つの電極の長さが全く一致したとき
チユーブ幅を最小とし、この二つの電極の移動は
中心に対し正逆ねじを刻設した正逆ねじに係合し
且つそれぞれの電極を固着せしめたホルダーによ
つて行われ、またこのホルダーの移動は前記正逆
ねじを回動せしめるモータによつて行われ、チユ
ープ幅に対応してそれぞれの電極を所定値までの
移動あるいは停止は正逆ねじに連係する検出器に
よつてその値を検出し、この検出値と指令値との
比較演算を演算器で行うよう構成したことを特徴
とする表面処理装置。 (2) 前記二つの電極に細長な孔を設け、電気的
な制御は行わず、手動にてチユーブ幅に応じて背
中合わせに摺動させ、目的のチユーブ幅に対応す
る電極総計長さになつたとき、前記孔を利用して
金具でボルト締結するよう構成したことを特徴と
