After opening the upper and lower molds, a second molding material in a softened state that does not contain fiber reinforcement is placed on the molding material set in one mold.
0 thermoplastic resin and applying the other mold to it again to obtain a molded product in which a second resin material is laminated on the first resin material. This is achieved by a molding method and an automobile exterior panel obtained thereby.

Polybutylene terephthalate resin [Effects of the invention] This molded product 7 has a surface of FRP with excellent rigidity made of a first resin material containing glass fiber as a reinforcing material, and a second resin with excellent heat resistance that does not contain a reinforcing material. Since it is constructed by laminating materials, surface defects such as pinholes and raised fibers, which are typical of FRP, are completely covered with the second resin layer. Therefore, even if it is directly painted, a beautiful finish can be obtained without any problems. Furthermore, since thermoplastic resin is used, there is no need to heat the mold to harden the resin during molding, making the construction of the molding machine simple and inexpensive.
