Traditionally, when one track of a road is cut off for road construction, temporary signal lights are sometimes installed on the single-track section to direct traffic from oncoming vehicles, but when a disaster occurs, the existing traffic lights collapse and are damaged. When their functions stop due to such reasons, the power is often cut off at the same time, making it impossible to use the lights and forcing the administrator to direct traffic. First of all, we brought the traffic signal including the controller to the site,
However, traffic lights must be installed at a high location (according to the Road Traffic Act, the height from the ground to the bottom of the lamp must be between 2.5 meters and 4.5 meters). Therefore, regardless of whether the traffic signal is vertical or horizontal, a pillar must be installed to support it.
These have to be assembled on-site, and as assembly requires working machines and a large number of workers, it cannot be completed in time for emergencies. Therefore, in the past, traffic signals were rarely used in disaster areas such as those mentioned above. Someone was there.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to figures. The embodiment shows a traffic signal equipped with a three-color vertical lamp as a signal indicator. In the present invention, a pillar 2 is established on a base 1, and a lamp 3 having a display surface on all sides around the circumference is attached to the top of the pillar 2 to constitute a central pillar type traffic signal. In Figures 1 to 3,
A stay 6 is installed on the upper surface of a base 1 which is provided with wheels 4, 4... and jacks 5, 5... at the four corners of the lower surface.
On the other hand, a bracket 8a is protruded from a part of the lower peripheral surface of the receiver tube 7 having an opening into which the support column 2 is inserted, and the bracket 8a is pivotally supported on the stay 6 by a pin 9.
As a result, the receiver tube 7 is installed in the center on the base 1 so as to be movable up and down. Further, a hollow casing 10 is assembled on the base 1, and the receiving tube 7 is made to protrude outward from within a groove 11 formed between the top surface and one side of the casing 10. Stoppers 12a and 12b are provided on each end face to support the receiving tube 7 in a vertical or inclined position. Further, a winch 13 is installed on the base 1 inside the housing 10, an operating shaft of the winch 13 is made to protrude from the outer surface of the housing 10, and a handle 14 is removably attached to the end of the shaft. This winch 13
is used to raise the receiving tube 7, and its hoisting rope 15 is connected to the ear portion 8b protruding from the receiving tube 7 within the housing 10. Note that the relative positions of the bracket 8a and the ear portion 8b are in opposite directions and are shifted vertically. In the space inside the casing 10, there is a signal controller 16 and a power generator 1 serving as its power source.
7. Install a gasoline-powered generator, for example. In the figure, 18 is a cover that opens and closes a part of the housing 10,
The above-mentioned equipment is operated and inspected by opening and removing the cover 18. The lamp device 3 has a holding tube 19 of a certain length on the lower surface of its casing 3a. In FIG. 4, the supporting column 2 connected to the holding tube 19 and the receiving tube 7 is connected to both tubes 1 and 2.
The outer diameter is adapted to the inner diameter of the keys 9 and 7, and keys 20 and 20 are provided that protrude from a part of the circumferential surface at a certain distance from the upper and lower ends.
Therefore, fitting grooves 21 for receiving the key 20 are formed in the opening edges of the holding cylinder 19 and the receiving cylinder 7, respectively. As is clear from FIG. 5, in the assembled state, the receiver tube 7 and the holding tube 19 become part of the support column. Therefore, when installing the lamp 3 at a specified height position, the receiver tube 7 and the holding tube 19 should be adjusted within a range that does not hinder transportation and handling.
By setting the length of the support column 2 to be long, the length of the support column 2 can be shortened. Of course, the support 2 may be divided into two or more parts. However, if the installation height H of the lamp 3 (height to the bottom surface of the casing 3a) is set to 2500 m/m, which is the lower limit of the regulation, the casing 1
The height to the top surface of 0 is 700 m/m, the length of the holding tube 19 is 500 m/m, and the protruding length of the receiving tube 7 is 400 m/m.
Therefore, the effective length of column 2 is 900m/m (total length
1200m/m), so one support column 2 is actually sufficient.

In the example, when the function of the existing traffic signal stops due to the occurrence of a disaster, or when it is necessary to perform emergency traffic control, the proposed traffic signal is installed on the lamp 3, pillar 2, and base 1. These are disassembled and loaded onto a vehicle and transported to the installation site. At the installation site, the base 1 is first carried onto the road in the center of the intersection, and the jacks 5, 5, . . . are pushed down to install the base 1 in a fixed position. Next, receiver tube 7
is tilted down in the groove 11 as shown by the dashed line in FIG.
The key 20 is locked in the fitting groove 21, and the holding tube 19 of the lamp device 3 is inserted into the other end of the support column 2, and the key 20 is similarly locked in the fitting groove 21 to prevent rotation. Apply. FIG. 6 shows the state when the assembly is completed.

When the handle 14 is operated in this state and the rope 15 of the winch 13 shown in FIG. upper stopper 12
Supported by a. By the above operations, the lamp 3 is installed at a fixed position above the base 1, as shown in FIG. The wiring 22 of this lamp 3 is connected to the signal controller 16, and the signal controller 1 is operated by the motor generator 17.
6 is supplied with power, and the lamp device 3 displays signals in two directions using control commands from the signal controller 16.

When the proposed traffic signal is no longer needed, the receiver 7 is tilted down along the groove 11 in the opposite direction to the above, and the lamp 3 and column 2 are pulled out one after another, and the base 1 is removed.
After removing them from the road, they will be removed from the road.

In this case, the traffic signal is divided into the base, the support, and the lamp as described above, so that it can be easily loaded and unloaded into a vehicle and transported to the site by hand. In addition, a receiver was installed on the base that could be raised or lowered by operating a winch, and the support was connected to this receiver, so the support was lowered to a lower position and the support and lamp were connected manually on the ground. After that, it can be erected in a vertical position, and therefore, according to the present invention, it can be easily assembled without using any working machines, and it is possible to quickly respond to emergencies.
