Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the detachment of a permanent magnet as well as the crack or chipping of the magnet due to its fragility by fixing the permanent magnetic into a recess part via a spacer made of an elastic substance. CONSTITUTION:A receiving base 2 is made of a nonmagnetic substance having a saucer shape higher at its outer circumference part 2a, and a shaft 1 is put through the center part of the base 2 together with a recess part 2b formed between the part 2a and the shaft 1. A permanent magnet 3 is set in the part 2b and an elastic substance is fixed at the lower part of the magnet 3 via a spacer 4 made of rubber, etc., at a level lower than the part 2a. As a result, the vibrations produced by the impacts caused when the part 2a touches an attachment plate 6 are mostly absorbed by the spacer 4. Thus it is possible to prevent the detachment of the magnet 3 due to the attenuation of the fixing force caused by the frequent repetition of the loading/unloading actions of the magnet 3. In addition, the crack or chipping of the magnet 3 due to its frigility can also be avoided.

In the conventional disk clamp mechanism described above, when a disk-shaped storage medium is attached to and removed from the holder, an impact force is applied to the outer periphery of the pedestal, so frequent repetition of this attachment and detachment operation causes the permanent magnet to become fixed. The adhesive force may weaken and peel, or cracks or chips may occur due to the brittleness of the permanent magnet material, resulting in a decrease in magnetic attraction and loss of clamping function, or damage to the data storage surface of disk-shaped storage media. There is a drawback.

In FIG. 1, the pedestal 2 is made of a non-magnetic material having a dish-like shape with a raised outer periphery 2a, and has a tapered tip portion 1a at one end in its center, and is connected to a drive device. A recess 2b is provided between the dish-shaped outer circumference 2a and the shaft 1, into which the rotating shaft 1 is fitted, and a gap is provided in the recess 2b with the recess 2b around the permanent magnet 3. The body, for example, is fixed via a spacer 4 made of rubber or the like, and the upper surface is fixed at a position lower than the outer circumference 2a in a direction parallel to the shaft l. Further, the disk-shaped storage medium 5 includes a disk plate 5a having a data storage surface and a mounting plate 6 made of a magnetic material.
It is pointed. The mounting plate 6 is larger than the outer diameter of the outer peripheral portion 2a, has a hole in its center into which the shaft 1 is inserted, and is fixed to the center of the disk plate 5a. This disc-shaped storage medium 5 is inserted into the hole of the mounting plate 6 using the tapered end part 1a of the shaft 1 as a guide, and the mounting plate 6 is inserted into the hole of the mounting plate 6 with the outer peripheral part 2a generated by the magnetic attraction force generated by the permanent magnet 3. It is held on the pedestal 2 by the rubbing force of the pressure contact surface 7 due to pressure contact.

As explained above, according to the disk clamp mechanism of the present invention, when a disk-shaped storage medium is attached to and removed from the pedestal, the contact surface between the mounting plate of the disk plate and the outer circumference of the pedestal is maintained. Most of the steep vibrations caused by the impact of the disk are absorbed by the spacer made of an elastic material, so even if the disk-shaped storage medium is repeatedly attached and detached, the fixing force of the permanent magnet is weakened. It does not peel off or cause cracks or chips due to the brittleness of the permanent magnet material, reducing the magnetic attraction force and causing loss of clamping function, and also prevents damage to the data storage surface of the disk-shaped storage medium. There is an effect that it can be done.
