Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-layered sheet for vessel, which is excellent in flavor keeping property, easily unsealable property and sealing property, by laminating first-sixth layers consisting of specified resins respectively. CONSTITUTION:The outside first layer of a vessel is constituted of propylene homopolymer having the melt flow index at 230 deg.C of 1g/10min or less, the second layer of the same is constituted of adhesive resin, the third layer of the same is of saponified copolymer of ethylene - vinyl acetate, the fourth layer of the same is of adhesive resin, the fifth layer of the same is of propylene monomer same as the first layer and the sixth layer corresponding to the innermost side seal surface is constituted of polyethylene terephthalate resin respectively. A sheet, obtained from the sheet of above-described constitution by heat forming, may be used for a food and the like having strong flavor without spoiling the flavor, taste and the like while keeping the easily openable property and sealing property.

The polypropylene (hereinafter abbreviated as PP) used in the present invention is preferably a homopolymer with a melt flow index of Ig/lo min or less at 230°C. Homopolymers are preferable when melt tension is weakened and problems occur during molding, making it difficult to obtain good containers, or when heat resistance is required.
Mixtures or copolymers of other olefins such as ethylene may be used as long as these properties are not impaired.

The PET resin used in the present invention is generally commercially available with an intrinsic viscosity (hereinafter abbreviated as IV) value of 0°6 to 1.4, but in order to increase the adhesive strength with polypropylene, thermoplastic copolymerization is used. Depending on the purpose, 1 to 95% of resin such as polyester resin, thermoplastic polyester elastomer, etc. may be blended. In addition, in this case, PET resin,
Polyester resin has a moisture content of 30 to prevent hydrolysis.
It is necessary to control it to below ppm.
