Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify embeddability into equipment as well as to make blower inexpensive in cost by installing a blade cover, whose one side is formed in a duct and the other side is attached to a motor, at the side of an intake air duct, and attaching an inverter controller to this side wall. CONSTITUTION:With ac power inputted, an electric motor 10 is driven via an inverter controller 19, a blade 14 is rotated, performing a blasting action from an intake air course 15 to an exhaust air course 15 by a duct 18, and further operation as a blower is controlled by each control circuit of a pole position detector installed in a rotor of the motor 10 and the inverter controller 19. In this case, a hot air flow 30 out of the inverter controller 19 installed in a side wall 20 of a blade cover 17 in inhaled to the side of the blade 14 by an intake action of the blade 14, forcedly cooling it. Accordingly, forced-air cooling by a separate cooling system or a large-sized heat sink is made into disuse, so that miniaturization as a blower is well promoted, thus product cost can be made so inexpensive.

4), the operation as a blower is controlled. In this case, the hot air flow (30) from the inverter control device (+9) provided on the side wall (20) of the blade cover (17) is controlled by the blade (14). The air is drawn toward the blade (14) by the suction action and is forcedly cooled. In this way, the inverter control device (19) is attached to the blade cover (17) provided in the intake air path (15).
) and the circuit cover (28) are cooled by the air intake action of the blades (14), thereby eliminating the need for forced air cooling using a separate cooling device or natural air cooling using a large heat sink, allowing for a more compact blower. Product cost becomes cheaper. For example, when the air blowing capacity is improved, the cooling effect can be improved to cope with the amount of heat generated by the inverter control device (19) due to the increase in current flowing through the diode (22) and transistor (23). You can improve your abilities.
