In the D conversion unit 22, the reference voltage supplied to the reference voltage input unit 27 is divided into n stages and supplied to the comparator 28. By successively comparing the terminal voltage of the temperature detection element 21 and each partial voltage, the terminal voltage is converted into an n-bit digital value.

It gets rough. Combustion heaters use temperature detection to display room temperature and control combustion. However, displaying room temperature requires a relatively wide temperature range, and combustion control requires improvements in technology in recent years. As a result, temperature detection in finer units has become required. Therefore, with the above configuration, if temperature detection for room temperature display and temperature detection for combustion control are used for both purposes, it cannot sufficiently support temperature detection in finer units required for combustion control. Challenges have arisen.

A temperature detection element such as a thermistor and an A/D conversion section that converts the voltage between the terminals of the temperature detection element into a digital value, and a reference voltage switching section that switches the reference voltage supplied to the A/D conversion section. According to the purpose of detection, the reference voltage supplied to the A/D converter can be changed by a command from the central controller.

When a command to increase the voltage is issued, the terminal voltage of a temperature detection element such as a thermistor is A/D converted over a wide range. On the other hand, the central controller sends A to the reference voltage switching section.
When a command is issued to reduce the reference voltage supplied to the /D converter, the terminal voltage of a temperature detection element such as a thermistor is A/D converted in small units, although the range becomes narrower.

In FIG. 1, 1 is a temperature detection element such as a thermistor, and the voltage between the terminals is converted into a digital value by an A/D converter 2 and transmitted to a central controller 3. Central control device 3
controls the display element 15, motor 16, etc. based on this value. Then, the A/D converter 2 divides the reference voltage supplied to the reference voltage input section 17 into n stages and supplies the divided voltage to the comparator 18 . By successively comparing each of these partial voltages with the terminal voltage of the temperature detection element 1, the terminal voltage is converted into an n-bit digital value. 4 is a reference voltage switching section, and the central control device 3 is an A/D conversion section 2.
Before starting up, issue a command to select the reference voltage to the reference voltage switching unit 4 according to the detection purpose, that is, when detecting temperature in a wide range, the central control bag W3
A lower level signal is output, and transistors 5 and 6
is turned on, the voltage between the terminals of the capacitor 7 becomes the power supply voltage V
It is the value obtained by subtracting the collector-emitter saturation voltage of transistors 5 and 6 from CC. On the other hand, the temperature detection range becomes narrower, but if temperature is detected in small units, 1. A high level signal is output from the central control bag M3, transistors 5 and 6 are 0FFL, and the voltage between the terminals of the capacitor 7 is the value obtained by dividing the power supply voltage VCC by the resistors 8, 9 and IO, that is, as described above. The reference voltage supplied to the reference voltage input section 17 of the A/D conversion section 2 can be changed according to a command from the central control device 3.
