Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the oxidation of a fluorescent layer and drive it with the low voltage by laminating films made of an oxide and films made of a nitride of the same element to constitute dielectric layers, and forming the face in contact with the fluorescent layer with the film made of the nitride. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric layers 13 and 15 are laminated with oxide films 20 made of silicon oxide (SiO2) and nitride films 21 made of silicon nitride (Si3N4). Faces of the dielectric layers 13 and 15 in contact with a fluorescent layer 4 are formed with nitride films 21 and 21. Since faces of the dielectric layers 13 and 15 in contact with the fluorescent layer 4 are formed with a nitride, the fluorescent layer 4 is not oxidized by the effect of the dielectric layers 13 and 15, the dielectric layers 13 and 15 are formed with two kinds of films of the oxide film 20 and nitride film 21, thus the nitride film 21 with a low dielectric constant can be made thin in thickness, and it can be driven with the low voltage.
