もある。 However, since the water pipe is fixed to the wall,
Shower heads always have piping that protrudes forward, and when installing a mirror, for example, it must be placed below the water pipe, which has the disadvantage of not allowing flexibility in the design and decoration of the bathroom. Furthermore, although it is equipped with a ball joint, the water conduit is immovable, so there is a limit to the direction in which water can be sprayed, and there is a problem in that it lacks usability.

In order to achieve the above objectives, the shower device of the present invention has a hollow cylindrical mounting base that is mounted on a counter that protrudes forward from the wall surface and communicates with the piping system for water and hot water supply, and a base end that is mounted on the counter that protrudes forward from the wall. a shower tool that is watertightly and rotatably inserted into the pedestal to define a flow path and has a shower head attached to the tip thereof, and the mounting pedestal projects inwardly into the interior of the shower tool. The shower tool has a protrusion, and the shower tool includes a cylindrical joint body at the base end that is inserted into the mounting base, and an engagement protrusion that engages with the protrusion at the lower end of the joint body. Then,
The engaging protrusion is characterized in that it is formed as a remaining peripheral wall by cutting off the peripheral wall at the lower end of the joint body in accordance with the rotation angle of the joint body.

4 is a hollow cylindrical joint body that can be rotated within a certain angle range on the mounting pedestal 1, and 5 is the same. A water conduit tube consisting of a straight pipe part 5a that is connected to the joint body 4 and extends vertically upward, and a bent pipe part 5b that bends in an arc shape from the extended end, and 6 is a conventionally known ball joint at the tip of the water conduit 5. This is a shower head that is attached to the shower head so that it can swing freely.
A shower tool S is mainly composed of the joint body 4, the water conduit 5, and the shower head 6, and the shower tool S and the mounting base 1 are connected in a watertight manner.

and a cylindrical body 10 extending upward from the flange 9, and a cap nut 11 is screwed into the upper end. Inside the cylindrical body 10, annular guides 12 and 13 that rotatably support the joint body 4 are provided at both upper and lower positions, and an annular stepped portion 14 that continues to the inner periphery of the lower guide 13 and decreases in the radial direction. It is formed. Further, reference numeral 15 denotes a projection formed to protrude in the radial direction below the annular step 14, and when mounted on the counter B, the wall surface W as shown in FIG. and the protrusion direction of the protrusion 15 are orthogonal to each other. The protrusion 15 may be formed by a screw or the like that is screwed into the mounting base 1 and has its tip projected into the flow path.

とができる。 Joint body 4 A shaft portion 4a of equal diameter rotatably supported by the guides 12 and 13, a water pipe connecting portion 4b connected to the upper end of the coaxial portion 4a and screwing the water pipe 5, and a water pipe connecting portion 4b connected to the lower end of the coaxial portion 4a. It is composed of a substantially arc-shaped engagement protrusion 4c having an outer circumferential surface smaller in diameter than the diameter of the shaft portion 4a. The lower end surface of the shaft portion 4a is the annular stepped portion 1 of the mounting base 1.
The mounting base 1, the joint body 4, and the water conduit 5 define a coaxial flow path inside and communicate with each other.
The engagement protrusion 4c is a portion that remains after partially cutting off the peripheral wall at the lower end of the cylindrical joint body 4, and
It protrudes downward from the mounting base 1 and engages with a protrusion 15 provided on the inner periphery of the mounting base 1. In this way, since the engaging protrusion 4c is formed by partially cutting out the peripheral wall of the joint body 4, the circumferential length of the engaging protrusion 4c can be freely changed during processing. Therefore, the engaging protrusion 4c
Since the rotation angle of the joint body 4 is regulated by the engagement relationship between the protrusion 15 and the protrusion 15, the swing angle of the shower tool S can be changed simply by changing the amount of removal of the peripheral wall.

When the directional axis of the water pipe 5 is orthogonal to the wall W, the formed surfaces of both ends 4c-1 and 4c-2 face the wall W, and a line segment extending the formed surface is orthogonal to the directional axis of the water pipe 5. Placement.

壁面Wに衝突することはない。 In the shower device A having the above configuration, as shown in FIG. 4, when the water conduit 5 is rotated, the engaging protrusion 4
Both ends 4c-1 and 4c-2 of c abut and engage with the protrusion 15, and at this point it becomes impossible to rotate. Therefore, the water conduit 5 can be rotated within the range of angle θ in the figure, and can be stopped at any position within this angle θ. In the case of this example, the engagement protrusion 4c and the protrusion 15 are formed so that θ≒160°,
Even if the shower head 6 is tilted at the maximum angle in the direction of the wall W, the shower head 6 installed apart from the center of rotation will not collide with the wall W.

ことができる。 As described above, the shower tool S is rotatably supported on the mounting base 1 within a range where the shower head 6 does not come into contact with the wall surface W, so that the amount of protrusion of the shower head 6 is maximized during use. It can be placed in the state shown in FIG. 3, or in a retracted state toward the wall surface W as shown in FIG. 4 when not in use. Therefore, the shower head 6 can be swung according to the usage condition, making it convenient to use, and since the rotation angle is regulated, the shower head 6 does not collide with the wall surface W, thereby preventing damage.

造も容易となる。(3) The engaging protrusion provided at the lower end of the joint body is formed as the remaining part after cutting off the peripheral wall, so it is possible to reduce the circumferential length of the engaging protrusion by increasing the amount of removal during machining. For example, the rotation angle of the shower tool increases, and conversely, if the amount of removal is reduced, the rotation angle is regulated to be small. Therefore, it is possible to easily change the rotation restriction angle of the shower tool when processing the engagement protrusion, and it is also easy to manufacture a product with specifications that meet the installation conditions.
