ものは排水性が良くない。 Various proposals have been made for this type of seedling-raising device, but those in which the storage recess has a continuous tapered shape from the upper opening to the drainage hole at the bottom have good drainage, but the lower part is narrower and the storage recess has a continuous taper shape. Because the volume is small, it is not suitable for growing relatively large seedlings, and even if the volume is large, those with a flat bottom have poor drainage.

Formed in a gently tapered shape with good drainage and a large volume, it can form a root ball suitable for transplanting and main planting, and can also be used suitably for growing relatively large seedlings. It also allows for easy work.

An inner projecting edge is provided in one section, and an outer projecting edge corresponding to the inner projecting edge is provided in the other two opposing sections so as to be symmetrical with respect to each other. The outer projecting edge and the inner projecting edge corresponding to the projecting edge and the outer projecting edge are respectively provided in vertically corresponding sections. As a result, pot boxes of the same shape can be used stably as covers or lids when raising seedlings or transporting seedlings. Moreover, when empty pot boxes are stacked one on top of the other, the upper and lower pot boxes cover the entire periphery. It is designed to fit on the sides.

I am doing it. The accommodation recess 10 has at least its inner surface tapered downward from the upper opening 2 with a relatively gentle slope with respect to the horizontal plane, and is bent inward from the lower end of the steeply sloped tapered surface portion 1a at its lower part. The bottom part 3 is formed in a more gently tapered shape continuing to the periphery of the drainage hole 4 at the center of the bottom part 3, and this gently inclined taper surface part 1b also serves as the bottom surface. It is desirable that the boundary between the tapered surface portions 1a and 1b be slightly rounded. In the case of the illustrated embodiment, the accommodation recesses 10 have a container shape in which adjacent ones are connected only at the upper part and are separated and independent at the lower part, and the outer surface of the accommodation recess 10 is
It is also possible to form a two-step tapered shape corresponding to the inner surface so as not to change the wall thickness of 0.
In the figure, the steeply inclined taper surface and the lower surface of the bottom portion 3 are connected by a rounded surface.

It may be a planar hexagon as shown in the figure) or other polygons; in particular, a planar substantially quadrilateral with rounded corners;
In the case of a planar shape such as a circular planar shape or a planar hexagonal planar shape with large corner angles, it becomes easy to pull out the seedlings during transplantation and main planting, and the shape retention of the root ball is improved. Further, when the accommodation recesses 10 are hexagonal in plan, they can be arranged side by side without waste by arranging them in a honeycomb shape as shown in FIG. This accommodation recess 1
0 generally has an opening diameter and depth of 4 to 10 cm, a wall thickness of about 1 cm, and a drain hole 4 diameter of about 0.5 to 2.0 cm, but of course it can be implemented with dimensions other than the above.

ある。 Furthermore, on the lower surface of the bottom part 3 of the accommodation recess 10,
A flow means is provided which communicates laterally from the drain hole 4, and in the embodiments shown in FIGS. Several groove-shaped recesses 5 are provided.
That is, when the pot box A of the present invention is placed directly and used, the recess 5 improves drainage and ventilation from the drainage hole 4, and has the effect of assisting root growth. There is no problem in stacking them like this, and ventilation can be ensured in this state. Furthermore, as a means for water drainage and ventilation, a rib-shaped protrusion 5' may be provided on the lower surface of the bottom 3 in place of the groove-shaped recess 5 as shown in FIG. Also, the lower surface of the bottom part 3 other than the convex part 5' can be raised from the installation surface to provide a gap as a means of circulation, which has the effect of improving drainage from the drainage hole 4 and ventilation. The convex portions 5' may be formed radially around the drain hole 4, or may be formed in various other ways.

The inner protrusion 7a is attached to the other two opposing sections.
The outer protruding edges 7b which are biased further outward are provided so as to be point symmetrical to each other. That is, in the case of the pot box A having a substantially rectangular plan view as in the illustrated embodiment, it is divided into four equal parts at the center of each side, and the inner flange 7a is in the section facing one diagonal, and the inner flange 7a is in the section facing the other diagonal. The outer projecting edges 7b are provided point-symmetrically to each other, so that an empty pot box of the same shape is placed over the pot box as shown in FIG. 5, and the corresponding inner projecting edges 7a and outer projecting edges 7b are fitted together. This allows it to be used as a cover or lid when raising seedlings or transporting them.

and the outer protruding edge 8 corresponding to the outer protruding edge 7b, respectively.
b and the inner protrusion 8a are provided symmetrically in the vertically corresponding sections, respectively, so that when the empty pot boxes A are stacked vertically, they fit into each other vertically. In particular, if the circumferential side portion 6 is extended vertically toward the lower edge, the seedlings can be stacked in multiple stages when growing seedlings.

できる。 In particular, in the case of the present invention, a flow means is provided on the lower surface of the bottom of each storage recess 10, which communicates with the side from the drainage holes 4, so that it can be used even when placed directly on the open ground or on the floor. The periphery of the drain hole 4 does not touch the ground on the lower surface of the bottom, but communicates with the side through the circulation means. Therefore, even without providing a stand or support means on the side of the pot box to float the entire bottom, water such as irrigation water or rainwater flowing out from the drainage hole 4 is immediately drained to the side, and the drainage hole and storage recess 10 There is no risk of the water remaining in the inner bottom, and this, together with the drainage performance provided by the tapered surface within the housing recess, ensures extremely good drainage performance. Further, the air permeability necessary for root growth can be ensured by the above-mentioned distribution means.

By forming the lower part into a gently tapered shape, it has a larger volume than a continuous tapered shape from the upper opening to the drainage hole at the bottom, making it suitable for transplanting and main planting without hindering root growth. It can form a root ball with volume, and is suitable when it is necessary to metamorphose relatively large seedlings. In addition, the steep and gradual taper of the inner surface makes it easy to remove seedlings during transplanting and actual planting, and since the lower part of the root ball is relatively thick, the shape retention of the root ball is improved. Transplanting can be done without damaging the roots. Furthermore, since it is a synthetic resin foam, it is lightweight, easy to handle, and has good heat insulation properties, and can reliably alleviate low-temperature damage during the cold season, high-temperature damage during the hot season, and radiant heat damage in the root threads of plant seedlings.

are arranged so that they are point symmetrical, so
When an empty pot box A of the same shape is turned upside down and placed on top of this pot box, the inner ridge 7a of the upper pot box A and the outer ridge 7b of the lower pot box A are connected to the upper pot box A. The outer projecting edge 7b of the pot box A and the inner projecting edge 7a of the lower pot box A fit into each other in vertical correspondence. In particular, even if the upper pot box is turned 180 degrees, it will fit in the same way.

is attached to the potted box A in which the seedlings are planted, like a lid, to serve as a heat-retaining cover for raising seedlings in cold weather, or as a cover or lid to protect the seedlings during transportation while raising seedlings. It can be used as a container, provides good protection for seedlings, and is economical as there is no need to prepare any other special lid or cover. Of course, since they can be attached stably in a fitted state, they can be stacked in a stacked state, and since they are made of synthetic resin foam and are lightweight, they can be easily transported and moved.

Therefore, when a plurality of empty pot boxes A are stacked one on top of the other, the inner and outer projecting edges 7a, 7b and 8b, 8a of the upper and lower pot boxes will fit into each other, so that the empty pot boxes It also becomes easier to transport and handle the pot box.
