Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the sterilizing property of the sterilizer by separating a flowing water part into two sections, providing the inlet and outlet for flowing water to each section and setting a UV lamp inside the inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:A double pipe consisting of a quartz glass pipe 6, a hard 'Pyrex(R) glass pipe 7, an upper lid 8 and a lower lid 9 is vertically separated by a partition plate of a hard 'Pyrex(R) glass plate into the first flowing water part 14 and second flowing water part 15 in a water purifier system. The water to be treated on the water purifier inlet side is introduced from a flowing water inlet 2, discharged from a flowing water outlet 1, sent to the filter and activated carbon for removing the bleaching powder odor and impurities in the water purifier, then introduced from a flowing water inlet 4, discharged form a flowing water outlet 3 and supplied as drinking water. By this method, the sterilizing capacity is improved.

Additionally, hollow filters are an effective means of removing impurities such as germs, mold, and other microorganisms that cannot be suppressed with silver activated carbon, and impurities such as iron rust. The shortcomings are that the filter life is extremely short and the initial cost is high, and the reality is that there is also the issue of whether consumers will buy a new filter when it has reached the end of its life.

(Function) The necessary functions of a sterilizer that should be incorporated into a water purifier are to ensure the sterilization of general bacteria that enter from city water, to suppress the proliferation of bacteria within the water purifier, and to remove water from the faucet. It should have two functions: to sterilize bacteria that enter the air as airborne bacteria. The inventors satisfied this point and developed a long-life, compact sterilization device that uses a double-back system that can share a conventional ultraviolet lamp. In other words, the sterilizing lamp does not need to be restricted in shape or lighting method, and any lamp that emits a wavelength of 254n- may be used. By dividing the water into two systems, it is possible to sterilize the water to be treated. The inlet side of the water purifier, that is, the sterilization of bacteria contained in city water, and the outlet side of the water purifier, that is, sterilization of bacteria contained in the water from the faucet. By preventing contamination, it has the effect of ensuring thorough sterilization, which is the role of a water purifier.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the invention. In the figure, l is the water outlet of the sterilizing section on the inlet side of the water purifier, 2 is the water inlet of the sterilizing section on the inlet side of the water purifier, 3 is the water outlet of the sterilizing section on the outlet side of the water purifier, and 4 is the water inlet of the sterilizing section on the outlet side of the water purifier. , 5 is a germicidal lamp, 6 is a quartz glass tube, 7 is a hard glass tube, 8 is an upper lid, 9 is a lower lid,
10 is a hot air generator, 11 is a lighting device and a temperature control device, 12 is a double front partition plate, 13 is a temperature sensor, 14 is a water purifier first water flow section, and 15 is a water purifier second water flow section, in further detail. Then, the first water flow part 14 and the second water flow part 1 in the water purifier system
5 is obtained by vertically dividing a double tube made of a quartz glass tube 6, a hard Pyrex glass tube 7, an upper cover 8 and a lower cover 9 into two by a partition plate made of a hard Pyrex glass plate. Therefore, the water to be treated at the inlet of the water purifier enters from the water outlet 2, exits from the water outlet 1, flows toward the activated carbon and filter that removes the chlorine odor and impurities in the water purifier, and finally comes out from the faucet. Before, enter the flowing water through the pipe again from the flowing water population 4 and exit from the flowing water outlet 3,
The water is supplied as drinking water.

A 15W sterilizing lamp 5 is placed in the center of the quartz glass tube 6, and is turned on when water to be treated flows through the double tube to exhibit a sterilizing effect. In addition, a temperature sensor 1 is installed in a part of the germicidal lamp.
3, and operates in conjunction with the temperature control circuit 11 so that the surface temperature of the lamp is always between 30 and 40°C.
is now operational.

Bacterial counts were checked using the agar plate method. Similarly,
Water was passed for 317 minutes so that the water entered from the water outlet 4 and exited from the water outlet 3, and the number of bacteria in the passing water was checked. The results showed that the number of bacteria was zero in both cases, confirming that they had a great bactericidal effect.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, a hard glass outer tube is arranged on the outer periphery of the ultraviolet-transparent glass inner tube like a ridge, and both ends of the glass tubes are sealed to close the water flowing part. forming a partition plate in the axial direction of both the glass tubes, dividing the water flow part into two, and forming an inlet and an outlet for the water flow in each of the two divided water flow parts, A compact ultraviolet sterilizer that is built into a water purifier by installing an ultraviolet lamp inside the inner tube has sufficient sterilizing ability against bacteria contained in city water and bacteria entering from the faucet. Furthermore, since the water flow section has a two-chamber structure, it has the effect of efficiently increasing the sterilization effect.
