Claims (1)
- 溶融ガラスを溶融金属浴上に供給し、溶融金属
浴面上に溶融金属浴を横切つて設けた堰部材によ
り溶融ガラスの溜りを形成し、この溶融ガラスを
堰部材と溶融金属浴面との間を通過させて伸延す
るようにして薄板ガラスを製造するに際し用いる
堰部材において、該堰部材の下部先端から該部材
支持具取付部下端にかけての側断面上で、溶融ガ
ラス上面と接触する該部材の上流側面が下流側に
傾斜し、かつ該部材の下流側面を実質的に垂直に
立ち上がらせるとともに、これに続いて上流側傾
斜面に沿つて略平行した下流側面を凹状型として
形成せしめたことを特徴とする堰部材。
