〔課題を解決するための手段及び作用〕本発明者は、上

ンしたりというテニス特有の姿勢を前傾させながらのフ
ットワークに着目すると共に、このような前傾姿勢を保
持しながらのフットワークをスムーズに行なうためのシ
ューズの構造を検討し、その結果後述する実験例に示す
ように、靴をはいたときに足裏が置かれる靴底上面にお
けるつま先部とかかと部との高低差(以下ヒール高低差
という)を11〜16mmに形成した場合、走行時にお
ける蹴り出し力、推進力が向上し、走行速度が速くなる
ことを見い出した。即ち、本発明者は、歩行、中速歩行
、横への歩行、ダッシュ等のフットワークを行なう場合
における足の蹴り出し力及び一定距離をダッシュすると
きに要するダッシュタイムを指数化し、これら蹴り出し
力及びダッシュタイムとヒール高低差との関係を調べた
ところ、従来のスポーツシューズはヒール高低差を経験
的に9na程度としており。
