When using sanitary ware, there is a risk of water leakage,
There should be no air leaks. In order to maintain the quality of manufactured sanitary ware and sell ceramics of a certain quality on the market, manufactured sanitary ware is inspected for water leakage and air leakage. The conventional method for testing sanitary ware for water and air leaks is to place the ware horizontally, fill the reservoir in the trap of the porcelain with water, and check for water and air leaks from the changes in the water level on a manometer. method was adopted. According to this method, first hold the pottery horizontally, fill the reservoir in the trap with water, seal the drain opening of the drain channel with an iron plate coated with urethane resin or rubber, and then open the solenoid valve. When the water level on the manometer reached a certain level, the solenoid valve was closed, and after a certain period of time the water level on the manometer was checked for water leakage or air leakage from the pottery. However, with this method, the water leakage and air leakage tests are performed after filling the water reservoir in the pottery trap with water, so if there are any water or air leakage points in the pottery, the drainage channel must be checked before the inspection. There is a possibility of getting wet, and defects such as micro cracks and pinholes that get wet will be blocked by water, reducing inspection accuracy. In addition, it can only test for water leakage and air leakage from drainage channels, and furthermore, the current configuration can only apply pressure to about 80 mm of water column, so it has the disadvantage of poor inspection accuracy. Ta.

The inspection process in the prior art is as follows. First, the sanitary ware 101 is placed horizontally, the internal trap reservoir 132 is filled with water, and the sealing body 102 is pressed against the drain port 136 by the air cylinder 104 to seal the drain channel 130. Next, the solenoid valve is opened to pressurize the inside of the drainage channel 130. When the water level on the manometer 120 reaches a certain water level B, the solenoid valve 110 is closed and a water leakage and air leakage test is started. When the water level of the manometer 120 is above the water level C after a certain period of time, the sanitary ware 101
It is determined that there is no water leakage or air leakage, and when the water level falls below water level C, it is determined that there is water leakage or air leakage.

The pressure relief device 60 includes a water tank 62 filled with water.
and a pipe line 64 branching from the branch pipe 70. The pressure relief device 60 is the sanitary ware 1
When pressurizing the inside of the sanitary ware 10, the purpose is to alleviate the pressure change inside the sanitary ware 10 and stabilize the water level of the manometer 50 at an early stage. Note that the pressure relief device may be a method in which a branch valve is attached to the middle part of the branch pipe 70 and the internal pressure is relieved by opening and closing operations. However, the pressure relief device 6
Water leakage and air leakage can be tested using the manometer 50 without providing 0.

More specifically, the pressure relief device 6 described above
By using 0, even if an attempt is made to pressurize the inside of the sanitary ware beyond the water pressure corresponding to the submerged dimension of the pipe 64, the excess pressure will escape from the lower end of the pipe 64 in the form of bubbles. As long as the submersion dimension is accurately set to a dimension corresponding to the desired pressurizing pressure, the pressure inside the sanitary ware can be brought to the predetermined water pressure (corresponding to the predetermined water level B) in a short time.

Next, a process of inspecting the sanitary ware 10 for water leakage and air leakage will be explained. The pressurizing device 20 is connected to the air cylinder 28
to seal the upper surface 12 of the ball.
Next, the upper sealing device 30 is lowered by the air cylinder 32 to seal the water supply port surface 14. The lower sealing device 40 is raised by the air cylinder 42 to seal the drain port surface 16. The solenoid valve 27 is opened to pressurize the sanitary ware 10. The pressurized pressure inside the sanitary ware is measured by a manometer 50 via a pressure stabilizer 60.
is transmitted to. When the water level on the manometer 50 rises to B, the solenoid valve 27 is closed and a water leakage and air leakage test is started. After a certain period of time has elapsed, if the water level on the manometer 50 is C or higher, it is determined that there is no leakage of water or air in the sanitary ware 10, and if the water level is below C, it is determined that there is a leakage of water or air. Even without the pressure relief device 60, the purpose of inspecting water leakage and air leakage can be achieved by the above-described procedure, but the pressure relief device 60 can alleviate pressure changes inside the manometer and lower the water level in the manometer. Stabilization can be achieved more accurately and in a shorter time.
