DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention is applicable to, for example, a document reading device, a copying machine, a printer, etc., where the document or transfer paper, photosensitive paper, and the like are transferred to the document reading section Φ exposure section φ image forming section, etc. This paper relates to a sheet material feeding device for feeding sheet materials such as fly paper. (Prior Art) For example, some copying machines are equipped with two copy paper feeding sections: a multi-sheet feeding section and a sheet material manual feeding section. The multi-sheet feeding unit is a cassette-feeding type, that is, a cassette-feeding system in which a large number of standard-sized copy papers are loaded and stored in advance, and the sheets are automatically fed one by one from a cassette installed in the device. This is a deck type machine, which has a paper loading table that can hold and store multiple sheets of copy paper, and automatically feeds and feeds the sheets one by one. The manual paper feed section has a paper feed table or paper feed slot for manual paper feed, from which sheets are manually fed into the device one by one. For normal copying, paper is automatically fed from the multi-sheet feeder, and when copying non-standard paper or special paper, the paper is manually fed from the manual paper feed slot. The paper section and manual paper feed section are used separately. Also, some paper feeding devices for feeding sheet originals to the image reading section or exposure section of an image reading device are equipped with two paper feeding sections: a multi-sheet feeding section and a manual paper feeding section. , When feeding multiple sheet originals of the same size one after another, use the multi-sheet feeding section, and when feeding sheet originals of different sizes or only one sheet of original, use the multi-sheet feeding section. It can be used in different ways, such as using the manual paper feed section. In this way, it is convenient to equip a copying machine, image reading device, etc. with two paper feeding functions: one for feeding multiple sheets of paper, manuscripts, and other sheets to be fed thereto, and one for feeding manually. There are many. (Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in conventional devices, a multi-sheet feeding section and a manual paper feeding section are provided separately, and the sections are used for different purposes. In addition, the overall structure of the device itself including both parts becomes complicated, which increases cost. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems by providing a single paper feeding section with two paper feeding functions: multiple sheet feeding and manual paper feeding. (Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention comprises: a sheet material mounting table for placing a sheet material; a sheet material feeding means for feeding out the stored sheet material to the sheet material mounting table; and the sheet material. Converting the sheet material mounting table with respect to the material feeding means into a first relative position/attitude that enables manual feeding of sheet materials and a second relative position/attitude that allows multiple sheets to be fed. and a second relative position/posture for feeding a large number of sheets, and the sheet loading table loaded with sheet materials is changed to a second relative position/posture for feeding a large number of sheets, and the sheet stacking table is changed to a position corresponding to the sequential decrease of the stacked sheet materials as the stacked sheet materials are sequentially fed. A sheet material feeding device comprising: a sheet material mounting table moving means for moving in the direction of the material feeding means and holding the stacked sheet material surface at a predetermined substantially constant level position with respect to the sheet material feeding means; be. Further, in the above, the sheet material loading table is supported by a spring member so as to be able to swing freely, and when the sheet material loading table is converted to the first relative position/posture that enables manual feeding of the sheet material, the sheet material feeding is performed. A sheet material feeding device comprising: a friction member that elastically presses into contact with the means; and a stroke bar member that limits the amount of displacement against the elasticity of the friction member supporting spring member. be.

(Function) That is, the feeding device of the present invention can convert a single sheet material mounting table into the first and second relative positions and postures as described above, and can be used for both manual paper feeding and multi-sheet feeding. The manual paper feeder has a multi-functional structure that combines two paper feeds af@, a 1-length cross-sheet multi-sheet feeding function, so whether you are feeding paper manually or feeding multiple sheets, there is no need to use the paper feed slot. Since there is only one paper feed mechanism, the manual paper feed mechanism and the multi-sheet feed mechanism exist independently, as in the past.
Operability and work efficiency are significantly improved compared to using different paper feed ports. In addition, the overall structure is simpler and more compact than in the case where the manual paper feeding mechanism section and the multi-sheet feeding mechanism section are provided independently, and the cost can be reduced. In addition, by providing the sheet material mounting table with a friction member as described above in relation to the sheet material feeding means, when the sheet material is placed on the sheet material mounting table in manual paper feeding mode, 1 sheet material can be set. A sufficient feeling of the tip of the sheet material hitting the contact portion between the feeding means and the friction member can be obtained, and oblique feeding of the sheet material can also be prevented. (Embodiment) The drawings show an embodiment of the apparatus, and FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the mechanical state during standby.

3-3 is a friction member provided at two places on the left and right sides near the front side of the table (see Fig. 3-4). Each of these friction members is supported by being attached to the upper surface of the tip side of a leaf spring 4●4 whose base side is fixed to the back surface of the table l, and the notch hole provided on the front side of the upper surface of the table l is used to support each friction member. It is exposed on the top side of the table from 6.6. Reference numeral 5 designates a stopper member (spring plate displacement regulating member) for each of the above-mentioned spring plates 4, 4, the central part of which is fixed to the back surface of the table l, and the both ends of which are respectively attached to the back surface of the tip of the spring plate 4-4. They are facing each other. The storage friction member 3-3 is the support spring plate 4●
When the support spring plate 4 is pushed down against the elasticity of the support spring plate 4 until its top surface becomes approximately flush with the top surface of the base 1, the support spring plate 4●4
The back surface of the friction member 3-3 is received against the stopper member 5, and the friction member 3-3 is prevented from being pushed down any further. 7 is a lifting support lever member for the table l (first lever member)
, and is converted into a first rotational posture in which it lies down horizontally about the support shaft 8 below the platform 1, and a second rotational posture in which it stands up approximately vertically (Fig. 2). .. When the first lever member 7 is in the horizontal first rotational position, it does not lift the table 1, and the table 1 tilts forward and downward in a clockwise direction around the support shaft 2 under its own weight. It is held in an inclined position by being received by a first arm 9l of a table lifting lever member (second lever member) 9 in a rotationally locked state, which will be described later. In addition, when in the second rotational position in which it stands approximately vertically, the table 1 is lifted and rotated counterclockwise around the support shaft 2 to an approximately horizontal position, and the approximately horizontal position is maintained stably ( Second
figure). The first and second rotational postures and positions of the first lever member 7 can be changed by rotating a manual knob (not shown) attached to the spindle 8 of the lever member 7, or This is done by operating an automatic switching drive mechanism (not shown) that is linked to the operation of a switching switch.

When the cam l2 is at the first rotation angle position, the second arm portion 9 is pressed by the large protuberance, and the second lever member 9 is a tension spring member! 1, it is rotated counterclockwise around the spindle lo and is immovably stopped at that rotational angular position (Fig. 1-2). i! ! When the cam 12 is at the second rotation angle position, the cam l2 does not interfere with the second arm 92 of the lever member 9, and the lever member 9 is moved toward the support shaft 10 by the tensile force of the tension spring member 11. Rotation in the clockwise direction around the center is allowed (Figure 5). Reference numeral 13 denotes a sheet material tip abutment plate fixedly disposed in front of the table l and close to the front side of the table l. Reference numeral 14 denotes a paper feed roller disposed above the front side of the table l, and the support shaft 14m
The left and right pairs are integrally attached and supported (Fig. 3). 15●16.17●l8 is a pair of sheet material separation and feeding rollers and a sheet material conveying roller pair, which are sequentially arranged on the downstream side of the paper feeding roller l4 in the sheet material feeding direction. The upper roller 15 of the pair of sheet material separation and feeding rollers l5Φ16 is driven to rotate in the counterclockwise direction in the sheet material feeding direction as a feed reroller, and the preliminary roller l6 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction in the sheet material feeding direction as a separating roller. It is rotationally driven in the counterclockwise direction. The feed roller l5 is rotationally driven by receiving the driving force of a drive source mechanism (not shown) via an electromagnetic clutch (not shown). The shaft 15a of the feed roller 15 and the shaft 14m of the paper feed roller 14 are connected via a gear, and the paper feed roller 14 rotates with the feed roller l5 in conjunction with the rotational drive of the feed roller 15 by turning on the electromagnetic clutch. They are rotated in the same direction, and are stopped when the feed roller 15 is stopped due to the electromagnetic clutch being turned off. The lower roller 18 of the pair of sheet material conveying rollers l7 and l8 is a driving roller, and is rotationally driven by a drive source structure (not shown). The upper roller 17 rotates following the rotation of the lower roller l6. The shaft 18a of this driving roller l8 and the shaft lea of the separating roller l6 are connected through a gear, and the separating roller L6 is driven! In conjunction with the rotational drive of &a-roller l8, it is rotated in the opposite direction to this drive roller. During standby (other than during paper feeding), the first lever member 7 is in the sideways first rotation position as shown in FIG. By being in the rotation angle position, it is rotated counterclockwise against the spring member 11 and held in a state where it is not rotated. The lever rotates forward and downward and is in a state of being received by the first arm 9I of the second lever member 9. The drive source mechanism is off, and the paper feed roller l4
, pair of sheet material separation and feeding rollers l5●16. All of the sheet material conveyance roller pairs 17@18 are in a rotational stopped state. (a) Use as manual paper feed section. The first lever member 9 is switched to the second rotating position in which it stands approximately vertically by manual operation or by operating an automatic mechanism by pressing the manual paper feed mode selection button. As a result, the sheet material mounting table l is changed to a substantially horizontal position as shown in Figures 2 and 3, and this position is stably maintained, so that it will not fall down even if pushed by hand. When this change of the w4l lever member 7 to the second rotational position is detected by a manual feed mode detection switch (not shown), the control circuit becomes a manual paper feed mode control system. The left and right friction members 3●3 provided on the front side of the sheet material mounting table l and the left and right paper feed rollers l4φ14 fixed to the paper feed roller shaft 14a correspond in position, and the table l When rotationally supported in a substantially horizontal position, the left and right friction members 3φ3
are located corresponding to the lower side of the left and right paper feed rows tl4-14, respectively, and the friction members 3●3, which are slightly protruded from the cutout holes 5 and 5 of the stand l to the upper surface of the stand 1, are the upper surfaces of the paper feed rows tl4-14, respectively. roller l4●
The friction member 3-3 is moved to the paper feed roller l4● by the elastic force of the spring plate 4 which is in contact with the lower surface of l4 and supports the friction member 3.
In this state, the lower surface level of paper feed roller l4φl4 is 0. The level gap is approximately 5mm higher. Then, a sheet material such as a manuscript or copy paper to be manually fed onto the sheet material mounting table 1 is placed on the sheet material mounting table 1 with its tip end pressed against the lower surface of the paper feed roller 14-14 and the friction member 3●3 that is in pressure contact with it. Set it so that it is against the nip of the In this case, since the friction member No. 3 is pressed against the paper feed a-ra 14-14 by its support spring plate 4, the tip of the sheet material is brought into contact with the nip portion and the sheet material is removed. You can get a feeling of bumping when setting, and by setting the sheet material so that the leading edge of the sheet hits the nip between the left and right paper feed rollers and the friction member evenly on both sides, skew feeding of the sheet material is prevented. can. The leading edge of the sheet material fed as described above from the table L reaches the conveying roller pair 17-18, and the two rollers 17-18 reach the conveying roller pair 17-18.
When the feed roller 18 is firmly gripped in the nip portion, the electromagnetic clutch for the feed roller 15 is turned off. As a result, the rotational drive of the feed roller l5 and the rotational drive of the paper feed roller 14 interlocked therewith are cut off. However, the sheet material continues to be fed by the pair of conveying rollers 17-18 which are being driven to rotate. The feed roller 15 and paper feed roller 14 whose rotational drive is cut off are driven to rotate as the fed sheet material moves when the rear end of the fed sheet material passes through the respective roller positions. When the rear end of the sheet material passes, the rotation stops. In addition, t! 1S2 lever member 9 is held in a rotating lock state and does not take part in this mode of use as a manual paper feeder. In addition, in the above example, feeding is started by turning on the device operation start switch after manually setting the sheet material on the table L, but in other cases, for example, when the sheet material is set on the table L. Even if the control system is equipped with a sheet material sensor that detects this, and automatically starts feeding after a certain period of time after the sensor detects that the sheet material is set only when the manual feed mode detection switch is on. good. (b) Use as a multi-sheet feeder. In the standby state shown in Fig. 1, sheet materials S (Fig. 5), such as originals and copy paper, are stacked and set on the sheet material mounting table L, which is tilted forward and downward. The stacked sheet materials are tilted downward in the front direction of the table 1, and their tips abut against the breather plate 13 located at the front of the table 1, so that the tips of each sheet material are aligned. Alternatively, set the ends of each sheet material against the plate l3 so that the ends of each sheet material are aligned. Turn on the device operation start switch. Based on the ON signal, the cam 12 at the first rotation angle position il (FIG. 1) rotates by half a rotation and is converted to the second rotation angle position (FIG. 5). As a result, the rotation of the second lever member 9 is released, and the second lever member 9 is urged to rotate clockwise about the support shaft 10 by the tensile force of the spring member l1. Due to the clockwise rotational force of the second lever member 9, the sheet material mounting table l on which the sheet materials S are loaded and set as described above is rotated around the support shaft 2 by the first arm portion 9l of the second lever member 9. The stacked sheet material S is pushed up and rotated in the counterclockwise direction until the top surface of the leading edge side hits the bottom surface of the paper feed roller l4●l4 and is received (FIG. 5). The friction member 3●3 on the front side of the sheet material mounting table 1 is caused by the weight of the stacked sheet material S and the reaction force of the stacked sheet material S against the paper feed roller 14-14, and the elasticity of the support spring plate 4. The support spring plate 4-4 is pressed down against the friction member 5●5 until it is received, and the upper surface of the friction member becomes approximately flush with the upper surface of the table l. Next, the drive source mechanism and the electromagnetic clutch for the feed roller 15 are turned on based on the feed start signal, and all the rollers 14 to 18 are driven to rotate in a predetermined direction. Then, a feeding force is applied to the uppermost sheet material of the stacked sheet material S on the table l by the rotation of the paper feed roller 14●l4,
The uppermost sheet material is separated by a pair of sheet material feeding rollers 15.
-18. As this uppermost sheet material is fed, even if two or more sheets of the next ● next... next sheet material are fed, the next ● next ● next... sheet materials will not be processed. The lower separation roller 16 of the pair of 15 sheet material separation and feeding rollers 16, which is rotated in the opposite direction to the sheet material feeding direction, receives a pushing back action, and only the topmost sheet material is pushed back by the roller. It is fed through between 15 and 16. Next, when the leading end of the uppermost sheet material separated into one sheet reaches the pair of transport rollers 17-18 and is firmly held in the nip portion of both rollers 17-18, the electromagnetic clutch for the transport roller l5 is activated. is turned off. As a result, the rotational drive of the feed roller l5 and the rotational drive of the paper feed roller l4 interlocked therewith are cut off. However, the uppermost sheet material is subsequently fed to a sheet material processing section such as a document reading section, an exposure section, and an image forming section (not shown) by a pair of transport rollers 17-18 which are rotationally driven. The feed roller l5 and paper feed roller l4, whose rotational drive is cut off, rotate as a result of the movement of the uppermost sheet material being fed, and stop rotating when the rear end of the sheet material passes. Sensor means (not shown) provided on the feed roller l5 detects that the feed roller l5 stops rotating when the rear end of the uppermost sheet material passes, and the next sheet material is fed after a certain period of time from this detection. Based on the feed start signal, the electromagnetic clutch of the feed roller l5 is turned on, and the feed roller l5 and the paper feed roller l4 interlocked therewith are again brought into a rotationally driven state. The next sheet material, which is the sheet material above the iron, is fed in the same manner as above. In this way, by repeating the above operation cycle, the stacked sheets on the table 1 are separated and fed one by one from the highest one to the lowest one. In other words, automatic paper feeding in multiple sheet feeding mode is executed. As the number of stacked sheet materials S decreases as the stacked sheet materials S are separated and fed one by one, the sheet material mounting table 1 is sequentially rotated by the clockwise rotation biasing force of the second lever member 9. As the stacked sheet material S on the table l is pushed up and rotated, the upper surface of the stacked sheet material S on the table l is always maintained in a state of contact with the paper feed roller 14-14. After the last sheet material of the stacked sheet material S is fed, after a predetermined timer period has elapsed, or the absence of sheet material on the table L is detected by a sheet material presence/absence sensor (not shown), and the detection signal is sent. or by operating the reset switch,
The cam l2 is driven half a rotation and is changed from the second rotation angle position to the first rotation angle position. As a result, the second arm portion 92 of the second lever member 9 is pressed by the large raised portion of the cam l2, and the second arm portion 92 of the second lever member 9 is pressed.
The lever member 9 is rotated counterclockwise about the axis lO against the tension spring member l1, and is immovably stopped at that rotational angular position. Along with this, the platform 1 is also lifted clockwise around the support shaft 2 and rotated to a forward downward position. The drive source mechanism also stops driving, and all the rotors 14 to 18 become stopped. In other words, the system returns to the standby state shown in Figure 1. In addition. In this mode of use as a multi-sheet feeder, the first lever member 7 is held in the horizontal first shift position and does not participate. (Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the sheet material feeding device of the present invention, both manual paper feeding and multi-sheet feeding can be performed from one paper feeding port, and the operability and workability are good. The overall structure is simple.
It can be downsized and costs can be reduced. Something. The intended purpose is well achieved. In addition, the sheet material loading table is provided with a friction member supported by a spring member, and the friction member is configured to elastically abut against the sheet material feeding means during manual paper feeding mode, thereby making it possible to place the sheet material. When the sheet material is placed on the mounting table, the tip of the sheet material can be sufficiently abutted against the contact portion between the sheet material feeding means and the friction member, and skew feeding of the sheet material can also be prevented. can.
