Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain united slider parts, to reduce the number of parts and to prevent the increment of the cost of the parts by forming two grooves mutually crossing at right angles on the slider by machine work. CONSTITUTION:The slider 21 consists of a non-magnetic body (seramic or plastic) with a rectangular parallelopiped shape and its plane 22 acts as a face opposed to a medium. A groove 25 is worked in the medium traveling direction 23 from the plane 22 and a wide groove 26 is worked in the medium radius direction from the face opposed to the plane 22. The wide groove 26 is reached to the bottom of the groove 25 and both the grooves 25, 26 are connected to form a window part on the plane 22. A magnetic core 27 is formed on the window part so as to be aligned to the plane 22 and fixed with adhesives. Thus, the magnetic head can be worked by general machine working, massproduction can be easily attained and the number of working processes can be also reduced.

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は磁気ヘッドに関し、特にフロッピィディスク装
置用の磁気ヘッドに関する. 〔従来の技術〕 従来、この種の磁気ヘッドは第2図に示すように、磁気
記録および再生をする磁気コア1と非磁性のスライダー
2.3とを接着し、記録および再生コイル4と消去コイ
ル5を磁気コア1に設置していな.磁気コア1とスライ
ダー2,3は媒体対向面6が同一平面となるように、磁
気コア1の両側面を接着面として接着していた. しかし、第2図の構造の磁気ヘッドでは、スライダー2
.3の部品点数が2個あるという欠点があり、そこで第
3図に示す楕遣の磁気ヘッドが開発された.第3図に示
すものは第2図のスライダー2,3を一体化したもので
あり、部品点数を減らしてコスド低減を図ったものであ
り、このスライダー11にコア12のための股置孔13
を加工していた. 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 上述した従来の第3図に示す磁気ヘッドは、第2図のも
のに比較して部品点数は減るが、スライダー11に設置
孔13を加工する必要があり、部品の製作コストが増加
するという欠点があった.本発明の目的は前記課題を解
決した磁気ヘッドを提供することにある. 〔課題を解決するための手段〕 前記目的を達成するため、本発明に係る磁気ヘッドは媒
体対向面の媒体走行方向に形成した第1の溝及び前記媒
体対向面とは反対側の面の媒体半径方向に形成し、かつ
前記第1の溝の底面に達した第2の溝を備えた非磁性直
方体スライダーと、前記第1の溝内に前記媒体対向面を
そろえて挿着した磁気コアとを有するものである.〔実
施例〕 次に本発明の実施例について図面を参照して説明する. 第1図は本発明の一実施例を示す斜視図である.図にお
いて、スライダー21は直方体形状の非磁性体(セラミ
ックあるいはプラスチック)からなり、その千面22が
媒体対向面として作用する.ここに、千面22の方から
媒体走行方向23に溝25を加工し、平面22とは反対
の方からは媒体半径方向24に広幅の清26を加工する
.広幅の溝26は溝25の底面に達しており、溝25と
広幅の溝26がつながり、平面22上に窓部が形成され
る. 以上の加工は一般的な機械加工で可能であり、容易に量

. 〔発明の効果〕 以上説明したように本発明は、機械加工でスライダーに
二つの溝を直角に交差するように形成することにより、
安くしかも一体化のスライダ一部品が実現でき、部品点
数の削減、部品のコストアップが生じないという利点が
ある. 今後のフロッピィディスクの低価格化競争の中で、本発
明による部品点数の削減は、量産事業として多大な効果
がある.
