Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid useless power consumption by deciding synchronizing information non-reception number in response to a slave station clock synchronizing error detected by synchronizing information sent from a base station. CONSTITUTION:A slave station 2 closes a switch 17 for a period of a subframe assigned to its own station to supply power supply 18 to a reception section 10. Then an error detection section 13 detects a synchronizing error by the information of a clock 12 and a demodulation section 11 detecting the synchronizing information from a base station. The synchronizing error clock 12 is corrected by the detection section 13. The ratio of the synchronizing error detected by a comparison section 15 and the storage content of the memory 14 are compared in parallel with the processing and number of unreception of preambles after the succeeding frame is outputted to a control section 16. The number of preambles after the succeeding frame is not supplied to the reception section 16 from the power supply 18. In this case, the switch 17 is opened. Moreover, the power supply 18 is supplied to the reception section 10 for a slot period corresponding thereto. In this case, the switch 17 is closed.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Object of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a battery sage system for a mobile portable radio device (also referred to as a slave station). (Prior Art) Portable wireless devices, such as mobile phones and pagers, have become smaller and more compact, and as a result, battery capacity limitations have become extremely strict. The puffery saging method used in slave stations such as Beja is known as a technology to overcome battery capacity constraints. This battery saving method uses only the subframes assigned to the own station, which is the RF that consumes the most power within the slave station.
Department. The power supply (hereinafter abbreviated as the power supply) supplied to the receiving section consisting of an amplifier, mixer, emission circuit, etc. is turned on to receive a calling signal for the own station, and in other purple frames, the power supply is turned on. OFF! This is a technology that prevents wasteful consumption of PAV tech.

If the caller receives a ringing signal, the called party will be notified by a ringtone etc. that the called party has been called. As shown in Figure te), when the subframe interval ends, the slave station turns off the power and enters battery saving mode. During the period in which one source is performing OFFG, synchronization with the system is maintained by the internal clock of the slave station, and the power is turned on again in subframe A assigned to the local station of the next frame, and the above-mentioned In the same way as above, detect the extraction signal for your own station. At this time, the problem occurred during the battery saving period due to receiving the first synchronization request. Corrects the synchronization deviation of the clock inside the slave station. The same process is repeated nine times thereafter.

As mentioned above, synchronization is maintained by matching the synchronization preamble with the built-in clock signal of the slave station. In recent years, due to advances in technology, the degree of communication between slave stations has improved to the extent that synchronization does not occur for a while after synchronization. Therefore, conventionally, the synchronization preamble of the subframe assigned to the own station is received for each frame even in sections where there is almost no synchronization shift and correction thereof is not necessary. This synchronization error is provided with an interval equivalent to one slot r} into which the call signal is input. Constantly receiving synchronization pre-approval signals wastes power.

(One problem to be solved by the invention) As mentioned above, due to the progress of general technology, the built-in clocks of portable receivers have increased. The f* degree has improved, and the loss of synchronization has become more serious. From this,
It is possible to receive the synchronization preamble and correct the clock. I have been waking up without a problem. Follow me. I guess they received this synchronization Brian every time and corrected it each time. This much? This leads to wasted power consumption.

(Means for Solving the Problems) As described in detail above, in the present invention, the synchronization information generated by the synchronization information generation section of the base station is periodically transmitted from the synchronization information transmission section in one interval. ing. At the slave station. This synchronization information is selectively received by supplying power to the receiving section from the source section, and this synchronization information is synchronized with the clock generated by the clock generation section in the slave station. In such a communication system, each slave station is equipped with a synchronization error detection means that detects a synchronization error of a clock with respect to synchronization information, and as the synchronization error becomes smaller in advance, the number of synchronization information not received from the next cycle of synchronization information increases. a setting storage means for setting and storing the number of non-receptions of synchronization information corresponding to the coma synchronization error so as to reduce the number of synchronization errors;
The number of synchronization information not received corresponding to the synchronization error detected by the synchronization error detection means is read from the setting memory, and the power is turned off for the number of synchronization information not received every time the synchronization information is sent from the next cycle of synchronization information. The present invention is characterized by comprising a control section.

(Operation) The slave station synchronizes the clock generated by its internal clock generator with the synchronization information sent from the base station to achieve synchronization with the base station. Furthermore, a synchronization error detection means detects a synchronization error to determine how far this clock deviates from the synchronization information. The value of this synchronization error] Thus, the number of non-receptions of synchronization information that does not need to be received from the next cycle onward is determined. This is done by the setting record + i means, and the number of synchronization information non-receptions corresponding to the synchronization error is set and stored in advance so that as the synchronization error becomes smaller, the number of synchronization information non-receptions decreases. Then, the synchronization error detection means detects the synchronization error. The control unit reads the number of non-receptions of synchronization information corresponding to the synchronization error t from the setting storage means. From the next synchronization of this synchronization information, every time synchronization information is sent, the power is turned off for the number of times the synchronization information is not received. (Example) Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be explained in detail. The battery saving method of the present invention will be described below as an example when applied to a slave station C pager. What is a pager? It is a portable calling device owned by each individual.

First, a block diagram of the base station 1 shown in FIG. 1(a) and a slave station 2 shown in FIG. 1(b), and an example of the frame structure shown in FIG. The subframe configuration example shown in (c) and the power ON/OFF state shown in (c) of the same figure will be explained below. Here, an example of the frame structure C will be explained. The frame structure example shown in FIG. 2(a) is like this. The inside of the frame is grooved with subframes A to 2. A slave station is assigned to subframes A to 2, respectively.
Calling a slave station. This is done in this assigned subframe. Inside each subframe A to Z. As shown in Figure 1b), synchronization 1 for synchronization
It consists of a reamble 20 and a slot a1 + a snow pal.Next, we will explain the block diagram shown in Figure 1.In the initial state, the clock 8 in the base station l and the slave station It is assumed that the memory 61 of the base station 1 is synchronized with the clock l2 in the slave station 2, as shown in the figure (&). information is input. The memory 6 stores in advance subframes that are allocated to this slave station corresponding to information unique to each slave station. For example,
Assume that subframe A shown in Fig. 2 is applied to slave station 2. This subframe A and information specific to the slave station 2 are input to the control unit 7. The control unit 7 is always black
Based on the information in the frame 8 and counting the number of frames, the frame generator 5 is controlled to generate the frame shown in FIG. Based on the information input to the control unit 7, synchronizes information specific to the slave station in an empty slot among the subframes A■slot}al, ``It's'' in the frame created by the frame creating unit 5, for example, slot V}allζ The signal is then transmitted from the transmitter 18 section 4 via the antenna 3.
1+dtb) - A block diagram inside the slave station 2 that is installed will be explained. Simply put. In the opening ode,
Since slave station 2 is assigned subframe α, and subframe A is assigned to it, slave station 2 is not powered on during this period. ONI is straining. To be more specific, if we analyze that it is the section of subframe A where the target position lc is assigned to the target position lc based on the current clock l2 information. The control section 16 closes the switch l7 and supplies the power source 18 to the receiving section 10. At this time, the information specific to the thousand stations 2 sent from the base station l in synchronization with the slot ν}al of the subframe A. The receiving unit 10 enters the receiving state and receives the signal via the antenna 9. The received information is input to the demodulator 11. In the initial state, slave station 2 receives the synchronization preamble and slot t al , 11 懺 , al, so
Information on synchronization pre-clearance in the signal demodulated by demodulation 111 is input to error detection section 13 . On the other hand, slots} al
The information unique to each slave station sent by 'le'l is compared with the information unique to the slave station 2 in the demodulator. This meeting. Since information specific to slave station 2 is being sent via slotr}al. After much comparison, I found that the information matched the information within the FAA Department. Therefore, the demodulating section l1 internally generates a calling signal based on this coincidence and sends it to the calling section 19. The calling unit 19 uses a buzzer, light, etc. Notify the owner of slave station 2. On the other hand, at the same time that the synchronization preamble information is input to the error detection unit l3,
The clock information of clock l2 is also input. Therefore, we detect the error between the two. Here, the method for detecting this error will be explained using Figure 3. Figure 3(a) 1 shows a specific pattern of the synchronization preamble sent from the base station. In the 31st ■tb), the clock ψ1 in the slave station 2 is
The pattern made from the black information generated in 2 is shown. The error detection IIS13 simultaneously receives the synchronization preamble information and the clock information of the clock V clock I2 and stores them internally.

Simultaneously with the above operation, the error detecting section 13 corrects the clock 12 by the one-time synchronization error 21 so that the pattern shown in FIG. In the same figure, the percentage of synchronization error is divided and shown for each stage. The corresponding number of synchronization information non-receptions in which synchronization preambles are not continuously received from the next frame onward is shown. This stored information is stored in such a way that the larger the synchronization error, the shorter the period until the next synchronization preamble is received, and the smaller the synchronization error, the shorter the period until the next synchronization preamble is received. For example, suppose that the value output from the error detection unit l3 to the comparison unit 15 is 1, 2/100.Comparison unit 1
5 is determined by comparing to which stage of the synchronization error ratio stored in the memory 14 this value belongs, and 1/10 of this value is calculated.
0 to 2/1 0 "2" of the number of synchronization information non-receptions in which the synchronization preamble is not received from the next frame corresponding to the stage 0
The information indicating this is output to the control unit 16. Control # part l6 is. Normally, section switch 17 of subframe A assigned to slave station 2 is closed and power is supplied to 1B'F receiver 10, but in other subframes, switch 17 is opened and l#18 is not supplied to the receiver. Have them perform the following actions. When information indicating that the number of synchronization information non-receptions is "2" is input from the comparison unit to the control unit l6, in which synchronization preambles are not received from the next frame onwards. The synchronization preamble in subframe A of each frame is not received for two frames after being input.

This is because the control section switches the period switch 9l of the synchronization preamble.
7 to cut off the supply from the power source IB to the receiver 10. (See Section 2 [F] (e)) Furthermore,
The number of open switches in the synchronization preamble section is counted in the control unit 16, and when this count matches the number of synchronization information not received, which is "2". The control unit 16.
Start receiving the synchronous preamble. The operations described above are performed at any time. The stages shown in Figure @4 are just an example, and the settings can be changed to increase or decrease the number of stages. What is the flowchart shown in Figure 4? First, we will briefly explain the operation of the slave station using

Compare whether the number matches the number input to the lJ control section 16. (Step 28) If the songs do not match, snap 27 processing is performed. If they match, the process from step 23 is repeated. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, synchronization information transmitted from the base station is synchronized with the built-in clocks of the nine slave stations. Then, the synchronization error at this time is detected, and the number of times when synchronization information is not received from the next cycle onward is determined according to the synchronization error. Follow me,
When the slave station receives synchronization information and there is almost no error, it receives the synchronization information by skipping a certain number of pieces of synchronization information, and turns off the power supplied to the section receiving section of the skipped synchronization information.
This reduces unnecessary power consumption and allows for efficient battery saving.
