[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention provides a method for storing document data for multiple screens in an overhead projector. By pre-memorizing the data in the device and instructing continuous projection, multiple screens' worth of original data are automatically and continuously projected one screen at a predetermined time interval. [Prior art 1] An overhead projector is used to enlarge and project characters and figures written on a transparent sheet, or images formed on a transparent sheet, onto a screen during a seminar or conference. Conventionally, the original of the image projected onto the screen has been created by fixing black toner on a transparent film using a copying machine capable of copying onto a transparent film. Manuscripts are also created by writing images directly on transparent film with an oil-based felt pen, or by printing images onto transparent film. [Problem a to be solved by the invention] However, with these devices, the manuscript must be written on a transparent film, and materials etc. written on ordinary paper cannot be used directly, making the manuscript creation work troublesome. It is. Further, even if the original is written on the transparent film in advance, the transparent film (original) must be manually re-set each time different original information is projected, which is inconvenient. An object of the present invention is to enable automatic continuous projection without having to manually reset the original. [The 1,700-step invention to solve the problem is as follows. The optical shutter O (see the block diagram in FIG. 1, the same applies hereinafter) opens and closes the optical path using, for example, a liquid crystal. Storage means P
stores multiple screens worth of manuscript data. Projection instruction means Q
instructs to project multiple screens worth of manuscript data stored in the storage means P. The access means R is the projection instruction means Q
The 9-light shutter control S, which sequentially accesses the original data stored in the storage means P one screen at a time based on instructions from the storage means P, is based on the original data read from the storage means P by the access means H. Controls the opening and closing of the optical shutter O. [Function] The function of the means of the present invention is as follows. Projection instruction means Q
When is operated. An instruction signal a is output to the access means H. When this instruction signal a is input, the access means R
is an address signal b corresponding to one screen sequentially at predetermined time intervals.
is automatically output to the storage means P. The document data C for a plurality of screens are automatically read out one screen at a predetermined time interval and output to the optical shutter control means S. This original data C is converted by the optical shutter control means S into a control signal d for controlling the opening and closing of each shutter of the optical shutter O, and is output to the optical shutter 0. Based on this control signal d, the optical shutter 0 is activated. Each shutter is controlled to open and close. Therefore, continuous projection can be performed automatically without having to manually set the original again. [Example] Hereinafter, an example will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. FIG. 2 is a configuration diagram of an overhead projector showing one embodiment, and a floppy disk device l includes a COD (
Document data read from an arbitrary document medium by a document reading element (not shown) such as a charge-coupled device (charge-coupled device) or a TV (television) camera is stored in advance. As shown in FIG. 3, the key arrangement section 2 includes a continuous key 2A for setting the continuous projection mode, a number key 2B for instructing the projection time per screen, etc., and a floppy disk device 2! It has a projection key 2C, etc. for projecting the original data stored in the key controller 2, and the operation status of each of these keys is determined by scanning a key matrix provided inside the key arrangement section 2 by the key control section 3. It is detected by An external storage control section 4 is connected to this key iIjI control section 3, and this external storage control section 4 generates a predetermined access signal based on the key operation signal output from the key control section 3 to access the floppy disk. The original data is output to the disk device l, read out from the floppy disk device 2i1, and stored in the RAM.
Transfer to control unit 5. Note that the external storage control section 4 is equipped with a timer and a time register, which will be explained later. This RAM control unit 5 stores one screen worth of manuscript data transferred from the floppy disk device 1 via the external storage control unit 4 in a RAM (random Φ access
Assemble and write in the memory) 6 in a shape corresponding to each shutter of the liquid crystal optical shutter 7, which will be described later. It should be noted that each bit of the RAM 6 corresponds to each shutter of the liquid crystal optical shutter 7 on a one-to-one basis, and corresponds to one screen. The document data for one screen assembled in this way is output to the liquid product control section 8 under the control of the RAM control section 5, and the liquid crystal control section 8 operates a liquid crystal optical shutter based on the input document data. A control signal for controlling the opening and closing of each shutter 7 is created and output to the liquid crystal optical shutter 7. This liquid light shutter 7 includes a liquid crystal,
and transparent electrodes are arranged in a matrix to form a large number of optical shutters, and the above-mentioned control signal (control voltage)
By controlling the application of the liquid to the transparent electrode, the liquid cap corresponding to each shutter is opened or closed. The liquid crystal light shutter 7, which is controlled to be opened or closed as needed, is illuminated with light [9] composed of a halogen lamp or the like. Therefore, among the light irradiated to the liquid crystal light shutter 7, the light that enters the shutter controlled to be in the open state is transmitted through the shutter section and enters the prism 11 via the condenser lens 10. The light incident on this prism 11 has its 90' optical path changed by the total reflection effect of the prism l1, and is projected onto the screen l2. On the other hand, the optical path of the incident light to the shutter, which is controlled to be closed, is blocked by the shutter section. In this way, the light emitted from the light source 9 is projected onto the screen 12 according to the open/closed state of each shutter of the liquid product light shutter 7, and the open/closed state of each shutter of the liquid crystal light shutter 7 is determined based on the document data. Since the light emitted from the light source 9 and projected onto the screen l2 reflects the original data. Next, the operation of the overhead projector configured as described above will be explained. It is now assumed that manuscript data for multiple screens is stored in the floppy disk device l by a manuscript reading element (not shown). In this state, when the continuous key 2A of the key arrangement section 2 is operated to set the continuous projection mode, and the projection key 2C is further operated, the key operation status of those keys is determined by the key matrix inside the key arrangement section 2. The key operation signal is detected by the key control section 3 and outputted to the external storage control section 4. Then, the external storage control unit 4 performs control during continuous projection mode. That is,
Of each address signal group corresponding to one screen of multiple screens of original data stored in the floppy disk device l,
The first address signal group is output to the floppy disk device l, and one screen worth of manuscript data stored in the first area is read out and output to the RAM control section 5. This RAM control unit 5 stores one screen worth of input manuscript data in RAM.
The liquid crystal light shutter 7 is assembled in a form corresponding to each shutter, and when the assembly is completed, the external storage control unit 4 is notified of this fact. Upon receiving the notification, the external storage control section 4 outputs a projection command signal to the liquid crystal control section 8 based on the operation signal of the projection key 20 inputted from the key control section 3. Then, the liquid crystal control section 8 gives a read command to the RAM control section 5, acquires one screen worth of document data from the RAM 6 via the RAM control section 5, and operates each shutter of the liquid crystal optical shutter 7 based on this document data. A control signal for opening/closing control is created and output to the liquid crystal optical shutter 7. Then, each shutter of the liquid crystal light shutter 7 is controlled to open and close by the control signal. For example, if one screen worth of original data stored in the leading area is "A", only the portion of the LCD light shutter 7 corresponding to the letter "A" is controlled to be closed, and the other shutters are controlled to close. The shutter of is controlled to be open. Therefore, of the light emitted from the light source 9, the light that enters the closed shutter corresponding to "A" is blocked, and the light that enters the other open shutters is transmitted. Since the light t projected onto the screen 12 via the prism 11 is only for the part other than "A",
” part becomes dark, other parts become bright, and “A”
It is possible to judge the following. In this way, it becomes possible to directly use a manuscript written on any manuscript medium without having to create the manuscript once on a transparent film as in the past. Next, when a predetermined period of time has elapsed, the external storage control unit 4 reads out one screen worth of document data stored in the second area of the floppy disk drive 211, and
Output to M control section 5. This manuscript data is stored in the RAM 6 under the control of the RAM control section 5 as described above.
Then, a control signal corresponding to the original data stored in the second area is created by the liquid crystal control unit 8 in the same manner as described above, and is output to the liquid crystal optical shutter 7, so that the contents of the original data are displayed on the screen. It is projected onto l2. Similarly, one screen worth of original data stored in the third area, fourth area (old, etc.) of the floppy disk drive 241 is automatically projected in sequence at predetermined time intervals. Further, as described above, when the projection key 20 is operated immediately after the continuous key 2A, one screen of document data is automatically projected sequentially at predetermined time intervals, but the projection time interval is If you want to set it arbitrarily, press consecutive key 2.
A4F! When the i number key 2B is operated in the order of the projection key 209, images are automatically projected in sequence at time intervals according to the value of the number key 2B. This time management is performed using the timer and time register provided in the external storage control unit 4. That is, when the numeric key 2B is operated, the data of the predetermined time stored in the time register is changed and the time data corresponding to the numeric key 2B is stored. Then, the external storage control unit 4 resets the timer to output a projection command signal to the liquid crystal control unit 8, and when the timer value and the time register value match, the next screen worth of original data is transferred to the floppy disk. Read from 1 and 1. In this way, by issuing a continuous projection instruction, the original data for multiple screens is automatically projected one screen at a time at predetermined intervals, so it is necessary to reset the original each time during continuous projection. There will be no need. It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and for example, instead of the floppy disk device 1, an external storage device such as an optical disk device or an internal storage device (RAM) may be used. Further, instead of the liquid crystal light shutter 7, a photochromic device using a photochromic effect may be used. [Advantageous Effects of the Invention 1] According to the present invention, manuscript data for multiple screens can be stored in advance in a storage device, and continuous projection instructions can be given to automatically switch and project one screen at a time, so that When projecting multiple manuscript information in sequence, there is no need to manually reset the manuscript each time, reducing presentation time, allowing the presenter to concentrate on the presentation and the audience on listening.
This enables smooth operations.
