[Prior Art] As described in Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 59-45595, the conventional device triggers the examination by pressing the examination switch by the staff member. However, this inspection method requires the staff to go to the equipment and operate it in order to perform the inspection, which not only puts a burden on the staff but also poses problems in terms of unmanned operation of the equipment. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the above-mentioned conventional technology, when carrying out cash inspection, the staff member presses the inspection switch on the device, and therefore no consideration is given to conducting cash inspection in the device unattended. , which was a burden on the staff. The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the burden on staff and enable unmanned operation by allowing the device to automatically check cash based on instructions from a host device or the set time of the device's clock mechanism. [Means for solving the problem] In order to achieve the above purpose, the automated teller machine performs opening processing upon receiving an opening instruction from a host device, automatically scrutinizes cash, and reports the scrutinized results. This is to be recorded. In addition, in order to achieve the above purpose, the automated teller machine automatically examines cash when the clock mechanism of the automated teller machine reaches a preset time, and records the results of the review. This is what I did. [Function] The automated teller machine automatically checks cash when the host device sends an opening message or the clock mechanism inside the device reaches the set time, and records the results of the check. All that is needed is to confirm the contents of the record, which not only reduces the burden of checking cash on staff, but also allows unattended cash checking. [Example] An example of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5. FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a banknote dispensing mechanism of an automatic teller machine which is an embodiment of the present invention.

7 is a temporary stacker for temporarily stacking deposited banknotes, and 8 is a conveyance path for conveying the banknotes to the above-mentioned 1 to 7. Reference numeral 9 denotes an automated teller machine II which is equipped with the above-mentioned banknote dispensing mechanism as one of its units, and 10 is a central processing unit connected to the automated teller machine via a line. Figure 2 is a control block diagram of the automated teller machine shown in Figure 1. 11 is a control unit that controls banknote separation, transport, stacking, etc. of the banknote dispensing machine; 12 is an upper line control unit that controls a line with a central processing unit; and 13 is a clock mechanism that can preset the date and time of inspection. 14 is a collection management section that manages the amount of money in each storage box at the time of loading and collection, deposits and withdrawals, 15 is a recording section that records the results of scrutiny on journal paper, etc., and 16 is 11 to 1
This is the main control unit that controls 5. FIG. 3 shows the available amount area where the available amount management unit in FIG. 2 updates the available amount for each process, and 17 is the safe available amount area,
Reference numeral 18 is the amount area for the 10,000 yen and 1,000 yen storage boxes, 19 is the loading amount area, 20 is the deposit amount area, 21 is the withdrawal amount area, and 22 is the safe collection amount area. Figure 4 is a flowchart showing the examination method of the present invention, and Figure 5 shows the examination results printed on journal paper. The operation during operation is explained below. When starting up the device, the staff member loads ten thousand yen or thousand yen bills into the removable safe 5 and performs the loading process. The banknotes taken out from the safe 5 pass through the conveyance path 8 and are checked by the discrimination section 6 to determine whether they are genuine or not.
After the denomination is determined, the 10,000 yen note is stored in the 10,000 yen storage box 2, the 1,000 yen note is stored in the 1,000 yen storage box 3, and the rejected ticket is stored in the reject box 4. This operation is carried out until the safe 5 is empty, and when it is finished, the money management unit 14 shown in FIG.
writes the amount stored in the 10,000 yen storage box 2 and the amount stored in the 1,000 yen storage box 3 in the storage box amount area 18 in FIG. 3, and also writes the loaded amount in the loaded amount area 19. The person in charge is. Take out the reject ticket from the reject box 4 and check whether the amount set in the safe is the sum of the loaded amount and the rejected amount. After this, it sends an opening message to the central processing unit g110 and enters the business mode. Next, we will explain the deposit transaction. The banknotes set in the banknote deposit/withdrawal slot 1 by the user are taken out one by one, the authenticity and denomination are determined by the verification unit 6, and the banknotes are stacked in the temporary stacker 7. After the user confirms the amount deposited, the banknotes are stacked in the temporary stacker 7. The 10,000 yen note is taken out again from the 10,000 yen storage box 2 after passing through the discrimination section 6.
The 1,000 yen bills are each taken into the 1,000 yen storage box 3 and stored in the 5,000 yen eject box 4. At this time, the earned amount management unit 14 in FIG. 2 adds the amount stored in the 10,000 yen storage box 2 and the amount stored in the 1,000 yen storage box 3 to the storage box available amount area 18 in FIG. 3, and Add the deposited amount to the deposited amount area 20. In addition, in a withdrawal transaction, the amount specified by the user is taken out from the 10,000 yen storage box 2 or 1,000 yen storage box 3, passed through the discrimination section 6, the authenticity and denomination are determined, and the amount is discharged to the banknote withdrawal port 1. The rejected ticket is stored in the reject box 4. At this time, the amount management unit 14 in FIG. 2 subtracts the amount withdrawn from the 10,000 yen storage box 2 and the 1,000 yen storage box 3 from the storage box amount area 18 in FIG. Add the amount of banknotes discharged to withdrawal port 1. If the 10,000 yen storage box 2 or 1,000 yen storage box 3 becomes full while deposits or withdrawals are repeated, the operation is temporarily suspended and a predetermined number of banknotes are removed from the full storage box. The temporary stacker 7 passes through the pull-out discrimination section 6.
After stacking, store it in safe 5. At this time, the reserve management unit 14 in FIG. 2 subtracts the amount paid out from the 10,000 yen storage box 2 or the 1,000 yen storage box 3 from the storage box area 18 in FIG. Add the amount collected into the safe to the amount area 22.
After this, work will continue. The day's work is concluded by an opening message from the central processing unit 1a10. At this time, if the central processing unit 10 wants to scrutinize the cash in the automated teller machine Kasumi 9, it adds information to this closing message to the effect that the cash will be scrutinized, and the automated teller machine i9 is shown in the flowchart of FIG. This message triggers an automatic cash check.
That is, bills are taken out one by one from the 10,000 yen collection box 2, passed through the discrimination section 6, and stacked in a temporary stacker, and when the 10,000 yen storage box 2 is empty, the banknotes in the temporary stacker 7 are stored in the safe 5. At this time, the money management unit 14 in FIG. 2 subtracts the amount paid out from the ten thousand yen storage box 2 from the storage box money area 18 in FIG. Add the collected amount to the safe. Similarly, the banknotes in the 1,000 yen storage box 3 are also collected into the safe 5, and the balance management area shown in Figure 3 is updated. Since the amount available in the device is (loaded amount) + (deposit amount - withdrawal amount), check whether the amount available in the device and the amount available in the safe are equal to one S, and calculate the difference. The recording unit 15 in FIG. 2 records the results on a journal paper, etc.
Print as shown.

。Of these, the banknotes collected in the safe 5 will be used for the next day's work.
The banknotes are loaded into the 10,000 yen storage box 2 and the 1,000 yen storage box 3, the balance management area shown in Figure 3 is updated, and the processing as a cash transaction device is completed. Above, we have shown an example in which the automatic cash check is triggered by a message from a central processing unit such as a host device, but as shown in FIG.
3. Another method is to set the date and time for automatic checking by the clerk in advance, and then automatically check the cash when the time comes, similar to the flowchart in Figure 4. In addition, although the example shows an example in which cash is automatically scrutinized at the end of a day's work, it is also possible to perform the automatic check on a certain number of days, such as on a weekly or monthly basis. Also, instead of printing the detailed results on journal paper, it may be possible to record them electronically on FD media, etc. Furthermore, it is also conceivable that the results of the examination are sent to a higher-level device such as a central processing unit through a line, and the results of the examination are confirmed by the higher-level device. Furthermore, in the embodiment, automatic scrutiny of banknotes was described, but it is conceivable to perform similar automatic scrutiny of coins. As described above, according to this embodiment, the clerk only needs to carry out the initial loading process, and the burden of checking cash is eliminated, so that it is possible to cope with future unmanned operation of automatic teller machines and the like.
