査するのに、カメラを内蔵したカプセルを気送
し、管内面及び溶接部を撮影して検査することが
行なわれている。この場合気送時に舞上がるほこ
り等によつて撮影窓が汚れると鮮明な映像を得る
ことができなくなるので、ワイパによつてほこり
を除去するようにしていた。しかし、このワイパ
はゴム製であるため、乾燥した場合にはガラス面
を傷つけたり、ワイパ動力が大きくなる等の欠点
があつた。

る。これら撮影窓6,7にはガラス9,10がそ
れぞれ取付けられている。そして側視撮影の場合
にはカメラ部5を回動し、ミラー8を介して溶接
部1aを全円周に亘つて検査できるようになつて
いる。
