Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an ink used for ink ribbon without causing abrasion of a head wire and blotting of printed characters by using a black oil-soluble dye jointly with at least two kinds of soft organic pigment bringing out the black color by combination. CONSTITUTION:Organic pigments to be used are soft organic pigments softer than a printer wire (made of high speed steel or tungsten) and having an average particle size of preferably 0.5-0.01mum, and more preferably 0.1-0.05mum, and at least two kinds of said pigments are combined with each other. A preferable combination of said organic pigments is the combination of three colors of yellow, cyan and mazenta. Yellow organic pigments are Hansa yellow, etc.; orange organic pigments are benzidine orange, etc.; red organic pigments are Pare Red, etc.; purple organic pigments are quinacridone violet, etc.; blue organic pigments re Victoria Blue, etc.; and green organic solvents are Phthalocyanine Green, etc. In black ink, arbitrary oil-soluble dyes which have been heretofore combined with other materials as ribbon ink can be combined as black oil- soluble dyes to be used jointly with said organic pigments.

が摩耗したり、また通常併用される黒色油溶性染料の存
在のために印字にじみなどが発生するという問題があっ
た。しかしながら、印字の黒色度、鮮明性及び耐光性を
保持するためにプリンター用インク配合から相当量のカ
ーボンブラックを除外することができず、また黒色油溶
性染料も印字特性を極力保持し乍らカーボンブラックの
配合量を下げてワイヤーなどの摩耗を抑え、かつインク
リボンの繰り返えし寿命を長くするために可成りの量を
配合する必要があった。
