Specifically, the present invention relates to a multi-layered fiber material that has both water absorbency and drying properties.

いたからである。As is well known, the reality is that highly water-absorbent fibers such as acrylic ester fibers are hardly used in general textile products. The reason for this is that when trying to make textiles using superabsorbent fibers, the fibers are bundled and twisted into yarn, so the fibers stick together, and if the superabsorbent fibers absorb water and swell, the adhesion becomes even stronger. This increases the amount of water that is trapped inside the fabric, making it difficult for water to escape inside the fabric, leaving the skin feeling wet and sticky.
This is because it was extremely uncomfortable to wear and was considered unsuitable for general textile products.

This was a successful development of a new textile material.

Because the lower layer plays the role of a hydrophobic layer, water is efficiently absorbed by the water-absorbent fibers distributed in the upper layer. Water vapor passes through the synthetic fiber fabric that is bonded together and emanates to the outside. At this time, although the synthetic fiber fabric has been given a breathable and water-repellent finish, it does not interfere with the release of water vapor. Further, the hydrophobic layer fixes and protects the water-absorbing fibers contained in the water-absorbing layer.

It is composed of a polyester fiber fabric 2 which has been subjected to

A hydrophobic layer 1a made of only heat-sealed polyester fibers 3 is formed in the lower layer portion of the nonwoven fabric 1, and a hydrophobic layer 1a made of only heat-fused polyester fibers 3 is formed in the upper layer portion of the nonwoven fabric 1 (see FIGS. 2 and 3).
It is filled in in the figure. ) are respectively disposed (see FIGS. 2 and 3). Acrylic ester fiber 4 is known as a fiber with extremely excellent water absorbency, but in order for this fiber to maintain efficient water absorption performance and have drying performance, acrylic ester fiber 4 was dispersed and fixed. The heat-sealable polyester fiber 3 is used as a binding material for this fixation.
, 5 was used to make a nonwoven fabric. That is, the heat-fused polyester fibers 3 and 5 are fused and bonded to each other at the contact points by heat-treating the superimposed webs while lightly pressing them with rolls from above and below. At this time, the lower hydrophobic layer 1a protects the acrylic ester fibers 4 of the water absorption layer 1b from coming out.

It is heat treated to make it breathable and water repellent. The reason for point adhesion is to prevent the upper surface of the non-woven fabric 1 from being sealed by the adhesive and to allow moisture absorbed by the non-woven fabric 1 to be released as water vapor from the polyester fiber fabric 2. At this time, the fact that the breathable water-repellent finish has been applied does not hinder the release of water vapor.

For example, instead of the heat-fusible polyester fibers 3 and 5, other heat-fusible synthetic fibers such as polyethylene fibers or polypropylene fibers may be used (also, instead of the polyester fiber fabric 2, other synthetic fibers such as polyethylene fibers or polypropylene fibers may be used). A woven fabric of fibers, such as a woven fabric of nylon fibers, may also be used.Furthermore, as shown in FIG. The nonwoven fabric 1 and the synthetic fiber fabric 2 may be heat-sealed in a net shape by superimposing the three sheets with the body 6 interposed and subjecting them to heat treatment.

This allows the water absorption layer to efficiently absorb a large amount of water, and the absorbed water is further dispersed as water vapor through the upper layer of synthetic fiber fabric that has been treated with breathable water repellent treatment, resulting in excellent water absorption. It is possible to provide a fiber material with a multi-layer structure that has both high performance and drying performance, and also has a good appearance as the upper layer that appears on the surface is a woven fabric made of synthetic fibers. Therefore, if this fiber material is used for sports outerwear such as windbreakers and golf raincoats, work clothes for workers engaged in work that produces a lot of sweat, or general raincoats, etc.
You can enjoy a comfortable fit without feeling stuffy or sticky to your skin. Furthermore, since there is a hydrophobic layer in the lower layer of the non-woven fabric and the water-absorbing layer does not come in direct contact with the non-woven fabric, it not only does not give a wet feeling when worn, but also protects the water-absorbing fibers.
