Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A printing paper 2 is mounted on a platen 1. A printing head 3 is provided on a carrier unit 4 which is supported by a shaft 5 and an eccentric shaft 6. The eccentric shaft 6 is coupled to a shaft of a stepping motor 11 at an eccentric position so as to be rotated in an eccentric fashion. The rotation of the eccentric shaft 6 invites a circular movement of the carrier unit 4 around the shaft 5. A detent number of a display unit 8 is set by switching an operating unit 7, and the stepping motor 11 is rotated by the amount corresponding to the detent number through a controlling unit 9 and a motor driving unit 10.
