Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain illuminance of a floor surface in an emergency with a low output electric bulb without damaging the design of a ceiling surface by providing a general lighting light source on the upper part of a strut fixed to a floor, providing an emergency power source device on the lower part of the strut, and providing an emergency lighting light source in the middle part of the strut in such a manner that the radiating direction of light is turned downward. CONSTITUTION:A general lighting light source 1 is provided on the upper parts of struts 11a, 11b fixed to a floor, an emergency power source device 18 is provided on the lower parts of the struts, and an emergency lighting light source 3 is provided in the middle parts of the struts. When a regular power source is cut into an emergency, the storage battery 18 is automatically operated to supply an emergency power source, whereby the emergency lighting bulb 3 is lighted to irradiate the floor surface around it. Hence, as the emergency lighting bulb 3 is not provided on a ceiling, the appearance of the ceiling surface is never damaged. As the emergency lighting bulb 3 is situated in a low position of the struts 11a, 11b, it can irradiate the floor surface at regulated illuminance even if it has a low output.
