In the past, commonly used bicycle saddles were constructed from a complex combination of members that could be individually adjusted to suit the rider's physique, preference, etc., and were therefore inevitably expensive. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, there is a type of saddle where the seat post is directly attached, but the reinforcing washer 21 to which the upper end of the seat post 20 is attached is in close contact with the iron plate saddle base 22, and the rivet 2
3 and 23, the saddle base 22 has no cushioning properties at all, and the sponge 24 disposed on the saddle base 22 has no cushioning properties at all.
Therefore, it is impractical and is only applied to some children's bicycles.

This invention will be explained below with reference to drawings which are examples of its implementation. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a seat post 8 is attached to the lower surface of a saddle base 1 that is made of resin or the like and has an appropriate cushioning property. The mounting bracket 2 is directly attached to the frame (not shown) and is adjustable only up and down. The mounting bracket 2 is made by cutting a flat metal of an appropriate thickness into a triangular shape that is narrow at the front end and wide at the rear end by fitting it to the saddle base 1, and attaching the front and rear ends to the mounting part 2.
a and 2b, and are formed so as to be connectable to the saddle base 1. The front end attachment part 2a is formed in a tongue shape that fits the saddle base 1, and is bulged toward the front lower surface side of the saddle base 1, and its rear end surface is fitted into and engaged with an engaging part 3 that is open for insertion. At the same time, the protrusion 9 formed protruding from the rear of the engaging part 3 is engaged with the engaging hole 10 formed in the front part of the mounting bracket 2, and is integrated with the rear half of the edge of the engaging hole 10. An elastic material 12 such as rubber is interposed between the bent support piece 11 and the bent support piece 11 to appropriately cushion the curved sliding movement of the saddle base 1. The rear end mounting portion 2b has its mounting holes 4, 4 fitted into a sleeve 13 that fits into the mounting bolt 5a, and its upper surface is connected to the lower end surface of a rubber elastic material 14 fitted to the outer periphery of the sleeve. Washers 15 and 16 are arranged at the upper and lower ends of the sleeve 13, and a nut 5b screwed onto the mounting bolt 5a is tightened, and the rubber elastic material 14 on the sleeve 13 is compressed and slid to freely absorb vibrations. . Note that the rubber elastic material 14 may be replaced by a coil spring (not shown). An intermediate portion 2c is provided between the two mounting portions, which is bent downward into a V-shape on the side surface to form a space separated from the saddle base 1, and the collar portion 6 is placed downwardly on the front half side of the intermediate portion 2c. A mounting hole 7 is press-formed and extends into the mounting hole 7, into which the upper end of the seat post 8 is fitted and welded, and is integrally provided with the mounting bracket 2. Note that a rib 17 is provided on the outer edge of the mounting bracket 2.

Since this invention is constructed as described above, the saddle base is supported at the front and rear ends by the mounting bracket, and can obtain a cushioning action, and the sponge disposed on the saddle base absorbs running vibrations. Although it provides moderate damping, by interposing rubber elastic materials 12 and 14 at the front and rear parts of the mounting bracket 2, the curved cushioning effect of the saddle base 1 is supplemented, making it even more effective at damping vibrations. This improves riding comfort. In addition, the mounting bracket is made of flat metal and has a shape that widens at the end to suit the saddle base, so it hardly bends to the side, so it is held in the correct position, and the back is stable, making it very easy to ride. Furthermore, since the structure is simple, manufacturing costs are significantly reduced, and the design is extremely simple and functional. In addition, saddle base 1
When attaching to the mounting bracket 2, the front part is attached and the rear part is attached with bolts, but it is of course possible to attach the front part with bolts and the rear part with bolts.

As described above, according to this invention, it is possible to omit all the mounting mechanisms such as coil springs, boat lines, Yagura metal fittings, etc. used in conventional general saddles, and the configuration is extremely simple, so the manufacturing cost is significantly reduced. can. Moreover, as a result, it becomes functional, has no waste in appearance, and is excellent in design. The mounting bracket is made of a flat sheet metal, and its planar shape is adapted to the saddle base. Moreover, only the front and rear sides are connected as mounting parts, and the middle part is separated from the saddle base 1, and there is a space between them. Since the space is configured, the saddle base has sufficient space to curve, and the spring action thereon buffers the vibrations received from the road surface, providing a cushioning effect comparable to that of conventional saddles and a supporting effect due to sufficient rigidity. In particular, when the saddle base and the mounting bracket are installed with an elastic member interposed, it provides supplementary and double cushioning,
This makes the saddle even more comfortable to ride.
