B. Conventional techniques and their problems None of the sidewalk blocks that have been provided so far have taken rainwater permeability into consideration. For this reason, rainwater does not permeate into the ground and flows down into the drainage canal along with the paving mix, sand, etc. As a result, the drainage channels become clogged with sand. In addition, rainwater that cannot penetrate into the ground or that collects between the sidewalk blocks and the ground can cause frost heaving during extremely cold seasons.

B. Embodiment 1 is a permeable sidewalk block according to the present invention, which consists of a running water groove 3 carved on the surface of a planar rectangular block plate 2 and a predetermined position in the running water groove 3. A penetration hole 4 reaching the bottom surface is opened, and a water-permeable mat 5 is provided on the top surface of the block plate 2.
are laminated. Incidentally, the block plate 2 is provided with a prestressed steel stranded wire 2A as shown in FIG. Further, a cone portion 4A having an inverted truncated cone shape is formed at the lower part of the penetration hole 4. Further, the side wall portion of the block plate 2 is formed with a protrusion 6 and a groove-like member 7 that engage with each other when the block plates are installed in series. FIG. 10 shows the installation of blocks 8 for access roads and private land entrances and exits. This block 8 consists of a center block 8A and a side block 8B, both of which are provided with a water flow groove 8C corresponding to the water flow groove 3 and a permeation hole 8D corresponding to the permeation hole 4. A protrusion 8E and a groove-like body 8F corresponding to the protrusion 6 and the groove-like body 7 are also provided. Furthermore, a water-permeable mat corresponding to the water-permeable mat 5 is laminated on the upper surface, but is not shown.
Further, when the blocks 8A and 8B are laid as shown in FIG. 10, sloped surfaces 8A' and 8B' are formed respectively in order to secure the necessary sloped surfaces 8'.

C. Effects of the invention (a) Rainwater flows down toward the block plate while being filtered by the mats 5, is collected in the drainage grooves 3, and further flows down toward the ground through the seepage holes 4 and permeates into the ground.

(b) Since the permeation hole 4 is formed with a cone portion in the shape of an inverted truncated cone, even if frost heaving occurs during severe cold, this portion can absorb it, and the sidewalk surface on which the present invention is laid will not be damaged.
