When the ripple discharge lamp 31 is manufactured, when an inert gas such as neon or argon is filled in the envelope 32, CO2 gas is simultaneously filled. An appropriate amount of an additive gas 33 that is negatively ionized, such as As the additive gas 33 moves, the shape of the discharge path S changes and fluctuates in various ways, thereby enhancing the decorative effect.

When these scattered electrode material molecules B adhere to the inner wall of the sealing body 32 (so-called blackening phenomenon), the additive gas 3
Since the added gas 33 is captured and adhered to, the additive gas 33 floating in the enclosure 32 gradually decreases, and eventually the discharge path does not fluctuate, and the decorative effect is continuously exerted. This created the problem that three ripple discharge lamps could not be provided.

に同様であるので、ここでの詳細な説明は省略する。Next, the present invention will be explained in detail based on embodiments shown in the drawings. In order to facilitate understanding, parts that are the same as those in the conventional example will be described with the same reference numerals, and descriptions of some overlapping parts will be omitted. The reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1 is a ripple discharge lamp, and this ripple discharge lamp 1 has electrodes 3 attached to both ends of an enclosure 2, and contains water copper, neon, argon, etc. Although it is similar to the conventional example that an inert gas is sealed and sealed, the present invention prevents an additional gas such as CO2 from being sealed at the same time in the sealing step. Instead, a nitrocellulose coating 4 is formed on the inner wall 2a of the enclosure 2. Next, the effects of the ripple discharge lamp 1 of the present invention constructed as described above will be explained. When the ripple discharge lamp 1 is lit for discharge, the nitrocellulose coating is 4 is decomposed, and this decomposition produces N2.02, C01
The additive gas 5 such as CO2 is released, and since the additive gas 5 has the characteristic of being negatively ionized, it shakes the discharge path S, resulting in the ripple discharge lamp 1 having the desired decorative effect. It is something. Here, in the ripple discharge lamp 1, by continuing to light the additive gas 5, as explained in the conventional example, the additive gas 5 is captured by the electrode material molecules B released from the electrode 3, and the amount of the additive gas 5 is reduced. However, at the same time, as explained above, when the light is turned on, additional gas 5 is newly supplied and continues to be replenished, so the total amount of added gas 5 does not decrease, and an appropriate amount is always kept in the enclosure 2. The additive gas 5 is present, and therefore, the fluctuation state of the discharge path S is maintained without decreasing over time as seen in the conventional example. Next, a method for manufacturing the ripple discharge lamp 1 will be explained. What is indicated by the reference numeral 12 in FIG. 2 is a tube-shaped glass tube, and the electrode 3 and the like are attached to both ends of the glass tube 12 in a subsequent process to form the enclosure 2. be. In the present invention, first, in the state of this glass tube 12, a solution 14 in which nitrocellulose is dissolved in n-butyl acetate solution is applied to the inner wall 12a.As an example of this application method, as shown in the figure, the solution 14 is applied to the inner wall 12a. A tank T filled with a solution 14 is prepared, and the glass tube 12 is placed in this tank T.
The solution 14 of an appropriate thickness is applied to the inner wall 12a of the glass tube 12 by dipping one end, applying suction from the other end using, for example, a vacuum pump, and then opening the other end. becomes. The method of application is not limited to the above-mentioned suction method; for example, a drip method in which the glass tube 12 is tilted and rotated along its axis while dripping the solution 14 on the inner surface, a lid on the bottom surface and the solution 14 injected can be used. In short, any method may be used as long as the solution 14 can be applied to the inner wall 12a to an appropriate thickness, such as a pouring method in which the glass tube 12 is drained and then drained, or a dipping method in which the entire glass tube 12 is immersed in the tank T. Here, to explain the results of numerous trial production experiments conducted by the inventor to realize this invention, the solution 14 is obtained by dissolving 2 to 10% by weight of nitrocellulose in n-butyl acetate solution. It has been found that the results obtained when forming the ripple discharge lamp 1 are favorable, and the best results can be obtained especially when the ratio is 5 to 6%. The glass tube 12 with the solution 14 applied to the inner wall 12a as described above is dried by an appropriate means such as natural drying or heating drying to form the solution 14 into a coating 4, and then the electrodes 3 etc. are applied to both ends of the glass tube 12. The rib-pull discharge lamp 1 is then attached to the rib-pull discharge lamp 1, but since this process is completely the same as the manufacturing method of a conventional discharge lamp, a detailed explanation thereof will be omitted here.

By replenishing the gradual depletion of the nitrocellulose coating by decomposition due to discharge, it is possible to continue the fluctuation of the discharge path, and it has an outstanding effect on extending the life of this type of decorative discharge lamp. be.
