The measuring rod was pulled up as necessary, and the amount of liquid was read from the position where the liquid adhered to the measuring rod. With this method, it is possible to know the amount of liquid at that time, but the operation is cumbersome, and it is not possible to know the amount of liquid that changes from moment to moment.
In other words, it is not possible to know when the load is full when loading or when unloading is complete when unloading, and especially when unloading, time is wasted and pumps are not fully discharged. During unloading, the pumps ran idly, causing heat damage to the pumps, and flammable materials were at risk of explosion due to heating.

A rotary shaft that can freely rotate is provided through the rotary shaft, and a bevel gear is provided at the lower end of this rotary shaft to convert the rocking motion of the rocking rod into the rotary motion of the rotary shaft. A cylindrical body with a display indicating the amount of liquid is fixed to the upper end, and a light emitting section for illuminating this display and a light receiving section facing the display are provided on the top plate, and this light receiving section is connected to an optical fiber. This device communicates with a reading section placed at an appropriate location through the cable, allowing you to know the amount of liquid every moment during loading and unloading, and to prevent overflow during loading or pump failure during unloading. This can prevent idling, etc.

よつて覆われている。 In FIGS. 1 and 2, storage chambers 5, 5 are separated by a partition plate 3 in a tank 1 of a tank truck. Inside the storage chamber 5, a horizontal shaft 9 is rotatably supported by a bracket 7 fixed to the tank 1, and the lower end of a swinging rod 11 is fixed to the shaft 9. A float 13 is fixed to the other end of the swinging rod 11. Further, a bevel gear 15 is fixed to the shaft 9. An opening 19 is provided in the top plate 17 of the storage chamber 5 and is closed by a lid 21 . Lid part 2
The rotation shaft 27 is rotated vertically by the bearing portion 23 provided on the top plate 1 and the bearing portion 25 provided on the bracket 7.
It is pivotally supported in a posture penetrating through 7. Rotation axis 27
A bevel gear 29 is fixed to the lower end of the bevel gear 29 and engages with the bevel gear 15. That is, the converting device 31 converts the swinging motion of the swinging rod 11 into the rotating motion of the rotating shaft 27 by the bevel gears 15 and 29.
is formed. A display device 33 for displaying the liquid amount in conjunction with the rotational movement of the rotational shaft 27 is provided at the upper end of the rotational shaft 27. That is, a disk 37 is fixed to the upper end of the rotating shaft 27 by a nut 39 to which a cylindrical body 35 made of a transparent material such as glass is fixed. A light projecting section 43 is provided inside the cylindrical body 35 and irradiates the inner surface of the cylindrical body 35 with light sent from a light source (not shown) through an optical fiber 41. A light receiving section 47 is provided outside of the cylindrical body 35 to receive the light emitted from the light projecting section 43 and transmitted through a scale-like display 45 displayed on the surface of the cylindrical body 35. The reading section (not shown) provided at an appropriate location is used to visually read the information. The display 45 displays the liquid amount by rotating the cylindrical body 35 in accordance with the vertical position of the float 13, that is, the liquid level position. The display device 33 is housed within a wall 51 that is fixed to the lid portion 21, and its upper portion is covered by a cover 53.
