This figure shows a protection device 4 for the soil, which is made up of a soil slip prevention member 3. The net 1 may be a wire mesh or, for example, a synthetic resin corrugated plate with many holes (not shown); however, the net 1 may be stretched over the slope 5. When provided, it is only necessary to provide a space 2' that communicates in the lateral direction. Further, it is preferable that the soil slipping prevention member 3 is inserted into a required plurality of gaps 2' provided at positions that maintain a required vertical gap corresponding to the length of the slope 5. Further, the prevention member is made of a highly water-absorbing/high-water retaining material, for example, a material in which a highly water-absorbing polymer whose main component is a vinyl alcohol/acrylic acid copolymer is mixed into an elastic material such as a synthetic resin or rubber, or It is made of other suitable materials with high water absorption and high water retention properties, and can absorb and swell in a short period of time. It has the possibility of repeating swelling and drying, which means that it returns to its original shape and swells again due to water absorption.

The above-mentioned soil slipping prevention member 3 swells as shown by the chain line in FIG. 4 due to water content, but in order to increase the water absorbing and water-retaining properties of the member 3, the above-mentioned filling part 7 is filled with the above-mentioned material. A highly water-absorbing and highly water-retaining material formed into powder may be filled together with the seeds 6, the greening base material 8, and the like.

As shown in the figure, main anchors 9 are fixed at multiple locations on the slope 5, and then the net 1 is stretched over the slope 5 via the anchors. In order to make the installation more secure, for example, a wire rope is strung lengthwise and horizontally around the anchor 9 and the net 1 is placed on the rope, and the rope and the net 1 are connected with a coil or the like. In order to prevent the net 1 from lifting up, etc., the entire net 1 may be brought into close contact with the slope 5 by pressing a plurality of required locations of the net against the slope 5 using pin anchors or the like.

However, in addition to the function of preventing the net 1 itself from slipping (retaining the soil), the applied soil 10 is swollen with water in the void 2' of the net in advance or at the same time as the soil is sprayed. The soil can be laid in a stable state on the slope 5 due to the large and reliable function of preventing the soil from falling off by the soil slipping prevention member 3'.

It is possible to reliably prevent a large amount of the soil 10 from sliding down, and therefore, the additional soil 10 itself can retain the moisture necessary for the growth of the seeds 6, 6', and the additional soil 10 can be naturally When it is dry, the above-mentioned soil slipping prevention member 3'...
3' can be released into the subsoil 10, and furthermore, since the naturally dried prevention members 3...3 swell due to water content again during rain, etc., it has a water retention function and the subsoil 10. The anti-slip function of 10 is not impaired.

By laying additional soil on the slope, you can prevent rocks from falling due to weathering of the slope and promote grass vegetation to make the slope naturally green. Moreover, by stretching the net on the slope, it is possible to completely achieve the intended purpose of suppressing floating rocks on the slope and preventing rockfall.
