  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 水平軸線まわりに回転する砥石と被研削物との
    当接部分に、前記砥石の回転方向上流側から研削
    液を供給しながら、前記被研削物に平面研削を施
    す平面研削盤において、 前記砥石から飛散する研削液を受けるように該
    砥石を包囲する砥石保護カバーであつて、 該砥石保護カバーにおける前記砥石の側方下端
    部の、少なくとも前記当接部分より回転方向上流
    側において、回転方向下流側に向けて下り勾配を
    有するドレンガイドが形成されていることを特徴
    とする平面研削盤砥石保護カバー。
